Hello all. I'm 29 and I've bn using Clipper to shave, recently I bought Gillette Fusion Power (shaving stick with battery) and used it to shave for the first time. The result was great but aftermath was something else. Acne filled my cheek and jaw. Just last night my barber introduced me to Neo-medrol. it seems to be working. Can I use the Gillette Fusion power again(cos it shaves very clean I swear).

Buy an electric shaver, the curly nature of afro hair means the bumps ( pseudofoliculitis) will come back again, invest in a 3 to 5 head rotary shaver and apply nivea after shave gel post shaving.

Neo medrol is effective due to the fact its a steroid which fights inflammation, long term use is not advisable since it gets absorbed in the blood stream. Equally advisable to use sparingly..

Good skin hygiene, cleansing with witch Hazel is a safer option in the long run..

Chemicals are not supposed to be used long term no matter how safe the advert says. Whatever chemical you rob on your skin gets into your blood and could be wreaking havoc somewhere in the body you will hardly associate with it. So don't use long term. Use it to fast track the effects you want and resort to natural products.

To be Frank,to keep bears is better to shave it....Use to keep bears and look sweet but not anymore cos i have to shave for work..Rubish...

Get bio-oil (sold for N1200 or thereabouts) and apply it sparingly to those areas before you sleep at night.
Take Vitamin E capsules everyday (1 daily).

I think your skin is peeling because its flaky as a result of the extreme drying effect of the acne lotion.

Your face should be back to normal within 2 weeks.

Should I apply d bio oil before using the neomedrol

After using neo-medrol..
Bio oil moisturizes the skin and helps fade out scars.

But if ur skin is still peeling, i will advise u to discontinue the use of neo-medrol for a while.

Pls v been using neomedrol on my face and z really working well,but the cystic acne on my chin keep occurring but if I apply the neomedrol it will go within 2days and anoda one will also bump out pls wot should I do cos I'm hating myself ryt now Nd I'm jxt tired of all dis mess

Hi, everybody. mine is not acne, mine is bumps at the back of my neck. I have visited the hospital, used different creams as prescribed by the dermatologist, but i still have black spots of bumps which sometime itch me. PLEASE, I NEED HELP.
