Yea what a talent wasting away even Etebor is bigger than Fareinse
After the Olympics, Monaco made a bid for Azubuike but his Turkish club rejected because they wanted to get promoted. I hope they let him go at the end of the season.

Rohr On Alert As German-
Nigerian Left Back Target
Torunarigha Shines For Hertha
Berlin

The search by the coach of the Super Eagles
of Nigeria Gernot Rohr for options at left full
back might be coming to an end following the
giant leap made by German-Nigerian left back
Jordan Torunarigha.
Presently Rohr has been unsuccessful in his
search for a credible back up for first choice
and second vice captain Elderson Echiejile, as
Kingsley Madu has failed to provide the kind of
challenge the manager wants for the Sporting
Gijon man.
Torunarigha has been on the manager’s watch
list for a while, and last night the German-
Nigerian full back made his first team bow by
playing for 27 minutes in their 1-3 loss to
Hoffeinheim in the Bundesliga.
He was introduced for Vedad Ibisevic and
despite coming on with his team under
pressure, the 19 year old who is proud of his
Nigerian heritage, as he has the country’s flag
on the header of his instagram account gave a
good impression of himself.
Although he has represented England at youth
level he qualifies to play for Nigeria through his
dad Ojokojo Torunarigha who played for Nigeria
League side Shooting Stars years ago.http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/04/01/rohr-on-alert-as-german-nigerian-left-back-target-torunarigha-shines-for-hertha-berlin/
He looks a good physical specimen. I will be on look out for him. Growing up in a family with strong football background usually is a huge advantage to youngsters.

Hahaha.

The competition is real. And some1 here says we dnt have a team on ground.

Etebo's versatility means he can be deployed in any forward position.

I dnt really like him being played in the CM. He should b deployed to the wings , SS or AM

Onazi can play CM and Mikel AM.

However, if Rohr has to chose between playing Onazi or Etebo in the CM position. Etebo has it for me.

Iwobi has been off color of recent, Etebo can replace him in a more forward role. We can have the three players in a match.

Azubuike IMO is one of our least celebrated youngsters.

A midfield engine.

I was surprised he still remained in that league even after an excellent Olympic outing.

Fear for Iwobi. He has to wait to take over for Mikel. Unfortunately, Kelechi Nwakali wants that role.

Iwobi needs to stay off the Social Media and sleep early. He should also check his lifestyle and cut out things affecting his game. The young man needs discipline.

The point is simple. A young player can look old and that can not be an accurate reason for doubting a player's age.
There is nothing wrong about having suspicions about the age of a player if people think his looks does not match how old he says he is.

It is left for the player to prove them wrong. In the case of the Europeans, they turn to their fantastic system. Who do we turn to over here to douse the tensions?

We have a lot of challenges here to turn our system overnight. We do not even have enough centres to provide Medicare. Simple. Looks does not determine age. Whether verified or not.

After Isaac Success impressive and Brilliant debut, I doubt Rohr wants him on the bench in the near future of the Eagles.

Ndidi and Etebor are new in the Super Eagles and they have started displacing some players from the team.

Same thing could happen if the new the new ones shines better than the ones in the team.

Then our players will continue to have problems with people doubting their ages. It's not the fault of the doubters. It's not the fault of the players (if genuine). It's what the hand of fate has dealt them by them being born to mismanaged Africa.

You can see how MRI scans has helped us and our football, right?

I dnt think it has much to do with his social media life. I think It has more to do with his attitude. He takes things too easy. He believes he is a world renowned star already.

He arrived at stardom on a plater of gold. His game improved exactly when Arsene Wenger wanted it if not even faster.

He is a boy with plenty of abilities. He will bounce back i believe.

He is one of my favorite players.. But I doubt he's played a full game in a long time. Plus he needs to lose some weight a little. I think that's why he is losing his steam as the goal scorer we once knew. I like the Success back then who was a great forward all round. Great provider and scorer.

Now it depends. I would personally pick Etebo to start ahead of Success from the wings.

Success these days looks more like a player that could come in as the game has advanced to stretch opposing defenses. He may not b a starter yet.

Success currently playing as Watford puts one pass Sunderland.

Importance of National Team coaches playing their promising players. It gives the club coaches the faith in the players.

Etebo flourished for us in midfield. I think that place makes us utilize his stamina and pace more.

You're missing the point. As long as your country cannot get it right in the keeping of records, you will have to make do with other methods of ascertaining the ages of your footballers like MRI scans.

There is something called precedence. If people from a particular country are known for being drug peddlers, it only makes sense to put extra measures before allowing citizens from that place to enter your country. It's just common sense. Nothing personal. Your anger is misdirected.
Speaking on the issue of age falsification and lack of public records. I wll disagree with the summation we don't have public records. We actually do.
Anyone born in a government accredited hospital or health centre is issued with birth certificate. This record is well cataloged in the hospital database that even if you come back after 50years the record can be called up.
I personally had an issue last year which I went through the process and within 30 mins my file was pulled out.

Also any baptised Catholic have his records kept forever. I have seen people who got their baptismal cards reissued when they was about to Wed and their records called up by the catechist within minutes. Some of the records predate the civil war.

The case with age forgery is aided by the lax attitude to verifying data.
If the NFF wanted to verify age and cut cost they should simply have a unit in the state FA's who will verify documents from players coming from their state or better still, for those without a birth certificate, they should be mandated to come to camp with their first school leaving certificate. Its very simple.

I agree about Success weight too. Looks too heavy. I think he needs to do more aerobics than lifting weights.

As for his goal scoring, I see him scoring more if he plays as a point man.

The fact is that he is keeping late nights. To the point a team mate of his had to ask him to go to bed. That gives a window into Iwobi's problem. He needs to know it is not all about talent. Hard work and Discipline is a big part of football stardom.
