TheGoodJoe:All those are excuses. Those boys were not matured both physically and mental for that stage. Was it NFF that invited rain makers to Surulere that day? Talking abt allowances are they the only Nigerian team that has ever suffered such? Bc u are being owed allowance Sudan will beat u 4-3 in ur back yard. The same Sudan that teams were using as punching bags at AYC. If Sudan had gone ahead to qualify for the WYC now i would say ok they met a tough team. |

TheGoodJoe:I like my strikers to be complete in every department to have presence. Fast, Strong, Skillful and Tall. The first of the first for me would be Thierry H (Classic Poetry in motion), Drogba (DD), Ronaldo (Portuguese and Brazilian) In the Europe Costa, Lukaku, Cisse, Benzema, Mbappe, Demba Ba, etc And Yes yes YEKINI. SOME of these guys are tall strong but still very tricky and mobile. |

Exclusive – Update On Ezekiel Bassey Residence & Work Permit Plus Possible Debut Date https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/image-17-1024x576.jpg The true state of Barcelona B January acquisition Ezekiel Bassey has been revealed to Owngoalnigeria.com, putting to rest doubts over his return date to Spain. Bassey returned back to Nigeria to process his work permit after spending time with the Catalan giants, but not much has been heard about him since then. Owngoalnigeria.com can however exclusively reveal, his work permit is yet not ready yet but the on loan Enyimba FC of Aba ace has returned to Spain. ” He has returned back to Spain for like two weeks now, he is currently training while his work permit is being processed here in Nigeria. It should be ready anytime soon”, a trusted source revealed to Owngoalnigeria.com via a chat on social media app Whatsapp. ” He is likely to make his official debut in two weeks time but for now he is training steadily with the rest of his teammate. He will come good soon”. Bassey joined Barcelona on deadline day of the January transfer window from Enyimba of Aba on a six months loan deal which will metamorphose into a permanent deal in the summer, base on variables such as performance and fitness. * Daniel Martins owngoalnigeria.com/2017/04/01/exclusive-update-on-ezekiel-bassey-residence-work-permit-plus-possible-debut-date/ |

(Video) – Ndidi Breaks The Internet With Screamer For Leicester City In Win Over Stoke City https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/image-51-1024x1024.jpg Great goal Ndidi pic.twitter.com/eVIouCsq5b — Aziz(@MagicalMartial) April 1, 2017 Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi knack for scoring long range goals was once again on show as he scored a 35 yards screamer to help Leicester City overcome Stoke City. Ndidi received a pass from fellow midfielder Danny Drinkwater in the 25th minute, and without any doubt in his mind let fly a right foot shot which flew past Lee Grant in Stoke City goal for the opening goal of the game. The goal was his third spectacular goal of the season, following his efforts for Belgian side Genk against Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League and his goal against Derby County in the FA Cup, which was his first in English football after his move from Genk in the summer. Jamie Vardy rounded up scoring for the English Premier League champions with a blast from inside the box off a cross from Riyad Mahrez, but the goal from Ndidi stole the shine of his well taken effort. *Prince Michael owngoalnigeria.com/2017/04/01/12844/ |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 7:51pm On Apr 01, 2017 |
Napoleon55:Creativity. Aluko is more creative and his style of play attracts players to him and create room for other players to shine. |

TheGoodJoe:That's another way of looking at it, however it doesn't mean a 19/20 year old cant beat it. The other thing is to be real considering our nature and what is at stake. What other options do we have, none. Yes I agree reluctantly. I will agree currently this is youngest set of players we have produced at U17 level. At least we no longer have men of 25 claiming U17. |

I forgot to add amongst my favoured strikers the Ghanian - Balotelli |

komekn:Nice list but scrap Lukaku, Drogba and Demba BA. The rest are perfect examples of my kind of forward. You can not put Yekini in the same style as Thierry Henry. |

Joebie:Most of my views of Aluko are from his games with the Super Eagles. When he played for us, the difference of how we played was too much. Sad Oliseh missed out on that continuity. I watched some of his games with Hull too but he played on the wings some times. I have not watched his games with Fulham. Only goal highlights but my judgment of Aluko's playing style comes from his few Super Eagles appearances. |

I won't lie, he is that one player that has done well for the Super Eagles. How did he lose his place in the team? Oh Oliseh's stupid policy. Now he is a coach in the 2nd tier. What an irony! BascoVanVeli: |

komekn:Balotelli is not pacy enough. A player like Greizmann fits the model I want. Play comfortable on the wings. Just like Onyekuru and Isaac Success. Victor Moses is another. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 8:30pm On Apr 01, 2017 |
Joebie:I understand but my point on Aluko has more to do with his style of play than watching him regularly. He has maintained a good form all season. That came from reports but his style of play is why I want him in the team. Not on the wings but behind the Forward line. Crystal clear when you watch him there. |

TheGoodJoe:If we are serious about checkmating age cheat,am afraid we have to look at kids within the school system, the school system guarantees to a good degree verifiable personal data about individuals. Every talented kid in Nigeria is not a hawker. Millions of kids in Nigeria are in school. The greater percentage of talented kids are found in various secondary schools in the country. |

TheGoodJoe:No definite No, No, Yekini was pure pace and power. Thierry was Skill, Technique, Speed, Finishing, Panacea just simply poetry in motion. |

TheGoodJoe:well,i rate Etebo much higher than Aluko. He brings in more to this team than Aluko would. |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 9:12pm On Apr 01, 2017 |
Napoleon55:Etebo brings in work rate and directness. He reminds me of Essien. However, his pattern of play does not disrupt the structure of the opposing defence. It is still a matter of preference but our forwards are deadlier with Aluko behind them than Etebo. |

goldfish80:Why look at kids in school system when we have a more accurate measure using the MRI? Our open camp system in different parts of the Nation yielded impressive results. Coupled with the MRI screening to come up with a core U17 makes a fantastic model. No need changing it. We can maintain the model and continue our fight to beef our educational system. |
