All of you saying customer service is bad here in the country, you are right sha because the job owners don't value those customer service representatives. The salary is nothing to write home about, welfare is zero so i agree it is nothing here in Nigeria.

hello NLers...thanks for the thread. I want to send an item to the US asap. I went to nacho yesterday and the price was just too outrageous and killing plus all this yeye "agents" fees. Pls it's just a 2kg worth of cloth and that's all but I was billed for the price of 10kg which is the minimum order and that's not good for business. THe destination is New Jersey in US. PLs does anyone here know where and how to get the cheapest and reliable courier/logositic to send it through? I'm left stranded now...Pls help me. Thanks

...OP, go to Twitter and blast them. Copy the CPC as well as the handle of UPS in the US. State it clearly that the Nigerian office is ruining the years of goodwill built by the parent company. You'll see that they would contact you sharply.

Thanks. I'll certainly do this. One Twitter fracas brewing grin

Thanks lalasticlala, mynd44 for placing this on the front page. I've seen the benefits already.

UPS Nigeria is one of the best courier service we have in the country nevertheless your complaints OP but whole issue lies with the Government agency that are trying to milk the citizens dry through the private sector... So its not UPS fault

Do you read before you write? He has a complaint regarding the quality of service they rendered and you are extoling the brand and blaming the Government. So, it's the Government that will log into UPS Nigeria mail, acknowledge and send appropriate feedback to the OP? It's also the Government that will pick up UPS Nigeria customer service phone and call the OP to tell him they are working to resolve the issue and he should give them xx amount of days to hear back from them?

You are just a typical Nigerian. Unbelievable in how you make excuses for mediocrity.

It is NOT UPS!
Blame your "NIGERIAN FACTOR"! kiss
UPS will tell you that once a package arrives in Nigeria, UPS had no control over NIGERIAN THIEVES!

Some people have hijacked the packages and will frustrate you till "THEY CHOP THAT BRIBE"!
What a disgusting CUNT-ry! embarassed

Hello broda, a friend of mine wants to send me a phone from the u.s. When he asked for an address, I told him to tell them to send it to one of their offices in lagos nigeria so i'll go pick it up. I also told him to insert a $50 bill at the back of the phone battery(is this practice safe?)

When he walks to FedEx shop in the u.s and tells them he wants his item shipped to a FedEx shop in lagos, nigeria, how will I know the specific fedEx office my item is being stored?

Also,is it safe to insert the $50 bill in the phone, just beneath the battery,as I feel it won't be found there?

Thanks in advance.

He should go ahead and send the package as nobody will tamper with it. It is contrary to the company's terms that staff should not tamper with clients parcels. Simply tell him to ship it through Fedex U.S.A to care of the nearest Fedex office to you whether Lagos or Abuja you are to specify.

Thanks for your patronage.
