it happened d day i decided to used bush track home as a boarder dispite the fact that we where warn that head hunters hides along the path way,God served me and my friends the day we where attacked although we lost our properties but we manange to run to a safe heaven with our heads all intact,since then i vowed never to disobey my teachers again

Can't remember them but this one was secondary school boarding house when we were still reckless. Me and the boys got ourselves drunk one night (note I don't even drink) and I vividly remember going to challenge the hausa night watchman who was holding a poisoned bow and arrow and even insulting him for no reason! Way back in 1983, I took up the challenge and toasted Fausat that my cousin/roommate earlier asked our 'big girl neighbor' to call for him. My cousin had disappeared when he saw Fausat approaching and our 'big girl neighbor' was annoyed that we were falling her hand. I rose to the challenge, toasted the girl and to my great relief, she said "No". I was hailed that Saturday afternoon for being a big guy.
I was actually relieved that the girl said 'No" because it was plain suicide if my dad (a teacher and disciplinarian) who traveled home for the weekend ever found out. I thought the matter was rested but little did I know that my wahala was just starting.

The next day being Sunday, I was inside our room with my two cousins/roommates when Fausat showed up at our window smiling. before I could answer her greetings, my cousins disappeared from the room and I started shivering.

Fast forward to week days, we were sitting with my Father at the courtyard when our landlady's erratic last-born (daughter), blunted out "I will tell Teacher (my father's nickname) that you married Fausat'. I think I actually died. It was the landlady that shushed her up but urs truly had died or heart failure already.

Many escapades back in the days, enough to write a book. Thanks Op for this topic.

lol i can vividly remember the day my parent went out together on a sunday and i was pushed to go put on porn in our living room and nepa cum take light GOD shocked

as devil they take work this Bastards refused to bring the light, i was totally glued at home, couldnt go out to play that day till my parent came back that night i still couldnt sleep still waiting for the idiots to bring the light cuz my dad was used to his 9 o clock nta news every sunday. o boy i wan die. but thank God the light didi not come till midnight and immediately i just rush....... you knoe the rest. vowed never to try it in my life again grin

Another was that my primary school was very big, with lots of corridors, staircases and passageways (now that I think of it, it reminds me of Harry Porter). We used to play hide and seek in them.
Anyway, I once had a sharpened pencil, with the tip inside my mouth. As i was running up a stairway to hide, there was this boy running down the same stairs. The next thing I knew, we collided, with the tip piercing my throat. Blood was just everywhere.
My eldest sister was the headgirl then. They had to rush and get my mom, who rushed me to the hospital/ theater. I felt like a G when I returned to school. And I still carried first.

People have always, and still do, call me workaholic.
Sometime in 2012, I needed to send in a report on a following day, and I insisted on finishing it the day before. Anyway, I finished it, thinking I was cool; only for me to step out of my office and I realized I was on my own. No okada, no keke, no bus. This was around 11pm. To be sincere, I wasn't conscious of the time.
I was lucky to get a bus heading to Yaba. From Yaba, instead of taking a direct bus going to Sabo, I decided to be adventurous and took one going to Oyingbo, with the thought that they would take the Sabo route. Omo, na so dem drive straight, bone the Sabo junction dey go Oyingbo.
When the driver found out I was going to Sabo he was angry but stopped me at Alagomeji, wishing me luck. Even refunding my N50. (Those guys actually have feelings).
Neeway, I had no choice but to start trekking to Sabo. That was when I noticed a guy walking behind me. When I crossed the road, he did too. I pretended to buy something from an aboki until the man passed, then proceeded on my soujourn.
Luckily, a man driving a car stopped by me and asked what I was doing on a lonely road by this time (almost midnight). He volunteered taking me home (another risk. I was weary but grateful). He drove me to my house, waited until I entered inside, then turned and drove away, without ever asking me for my name or number.
Am I still adventurous? Very much. But now I get more sense.

In my case, I climbed a very big tree through the branch of a closeby smaller tree but when it got to coming down my legs could not reach the smaller tree so as to cross over. Meanwhile, the trunk of the big tree was so mighty I could not attempt it. After trying effortlessly for some minutes and I didn't want to alert anybody around, I jumped from the height on the big tree and targeted the closest branch on the smaller like a squirrel, leaving my life to fate. As God will have it, I was lucky I didn't miss my target. I never knew a more mature boy was watching me until I got down and on our way home he called my friends to tell them what happened to me.

So we set out, it was about five hours journey, when we get to Enugu it was about 10 pm, after two hours we get to get to a bus stop that was till far from my house and bus stop us. Then there was nobody on the road not even a car. We were scared and was trekking home when a car stopped in our front and men all dressed in black they were like robots and their speed was something else started chasing us, we ran and did not know were to go, people's gates were locked. We kept running, I pushed a gate with full force and gate open, we ran inside the compound and people started coming out from their rooms. Then those men went back and drove off. We slept their that night and went home in the morning. If not for God....
