Bro, I'm a professional writer cum freelance journalist, but my mindset is that you have to behave like the Romans when you find yourself in Rome. When the situation calls for appropriate use of english, i adjust. Otherwise, i have no knowledge of any act or law prohibiting pidgin english as a communication tool. Thank you very much.

My friend please do not shift the goal post.. If you can comprehend the English language as well as you write, (because I can tell you write pretty well), you will acknowledge that the bane of my reply has absolutely nothing to do with pidgin as a means of communication.. My clear stance which you clearly do not understand is, if a young man is taught in the English Language, in a country where it is a compulsory requirement to progress to any Tertiary institution, and after subsequent graduation from that tertiary institution of which you were taught in the English language and of which all your tests and exams were written. Not forgetting that your final year project was defended in that same language, cause i do notknow of any school that people defend in pidgin..Then after all this, the young man comes out and says he cannot speak fluently in that same language. Then it is disgraceful by any toss of the coin, by any angle or degree you choose to look at it..

Does it happen?? Yes I see many graduates like that..
