theres an international sim card available on ebay with uk and usa number. i think its $25 and comes with $20 credit. The USA number changes (expires) after 30 days of non use (next time you want to use it you have to contact them to get another number). However the UK number attached does not expire even if u dont use it. I hope this helps.

I finally got a case of the kind of customer you don't want to have.

Let me explain.

We agree to specifications for doing the job and the pay at $201.00 (for 5 pages of research, although this was a pilot, and if he loved my work, he would add another 5 pages, making it 10 in all for extra pay), two days after I have gone far into working on the project with two days left to deliver, he changes the specification in the middle of the job. Because of this change in specifications, I end up delivering 15 pages for $201, at great cost to me, because I should have completed the task in 2 or 3 days but it has now taken 7 days.

I object, he says that I should cancel. What about the time I have spent? Can't he negotiate or compromise or be reasonable? He does not consider that! I manage to placate him, he says go on. The next day he apologizes for being rude.

So I manage to complete or almost complete the job. On the date of delivery, the forth day, he changes the specification entirely.He apologizes that he sent me the wrong specification entirely the first time, in his own words: Please find away to work around this new development, i know we still have a long way to go (50+ pages.)

Indeed this new specification is akin to having built a house based on an initial plan up to lintel level only for the architect to provide you a new plan saying the old one was faulty. Move to this other part of the plot, and build from the ground up again, but I will not provide you additional funds.

It is equivalent to building the house from scratch, since this new plan has no resemblance or correlation with the old plan.

So I ask for additional funds to study the new specification, and not to implement them via a tack-on custom order, we agree on the figure in chat $59, but because of power outtage, I failed to send in the custom order until the next day, and so when I did send in the custom order, I sent in $50 not $59.

He did not make it clear that he wanted me to abandon the old job which was 95% completed at the moment the new specification came in. But it was pretty apparent that he wanted the old job completed and the new job completed based on the former payment. He was practically begging me to accept to do it for that earlier amount that he made a mistake.

So this was my game plan. Based on the initial specification, I was going to complete the project, and I did.

Then provide him evidence that I have perfectly studied and understood the new job specifications. Will deliver the new job, but that the has to create a brand new order based on the new specifications.

So when I completed the job based on the old specifications.

I then send another custom order for the $9, then I submitted the new job.

His response?

Refund the $50, he refused to accept the additional custom order for the $9.

I don't intend to refund the $50 because I have clearly earned it.

So this is the issue: I want to take advantage of the Resolution Center.

If you have had a prior experience with the Resolution Center, I would appreciate your guidance because this guy has consistently refused to accept the job, which was perfectly done as per the specifications.

If I can demonstrate that I have done all that he required viz a viz the specifications he provided, I hope I will not lose the funds because the investment is really hurting me. I have lost one week to a $200 job and an unreasonable client meanwhile I have a $1,000.00 job for an absolutely wonderful guy that I have to rush because of this hopeless soul!

make sure you get to fiverr CS before he does, fiverr don't respect sellers so you need to act fast in order not to lose time and money... With proof, tell them he is asking for what it's not in the original work, you understand better.

Actually that is what I am doing right now.

I have suspended any other jobs, I am building a case against him with timelines and screenshots which I am hosting on dropbox because I once maxed out the maximum possible attachments using the Fiverr messaging system.

Once I make a case, and and it is resolved, I will inform the house, in case anyone faces a similar challenge in the future, he or she can learn from my experience

By the way, the $59 he was supposed to pay covered the review of 4 additional documents, and when I was done reviewing them, I discovered that there is no way that they could be incorporated into the initial research paper.

It was after accepting the offer topay for the work of reviewing the 4 additional documents that he submitted yet another document to serve as the new plan for structuring the research.

In other words, when I crafted the job description I made it clear that he has already given me a guide to follow to pen this research for him. So going by the law of contract, he cannot vary the guide without my acceptance. God is so kind, he did not include the new structure in the documents that I reviewed!

So already he is in trouble from that point of view, secondly, I am going to include in my defence that he attempted to take outside Fiverr which I objected to!

The highlighted phrase is unfortunately true. I had once been in this exact position as you currently are; I kept rejecting the offered cancellation of a deranged client, trying to appease the client along with updating the customer's desk on how everything played out but all at the expense of future soothing deals and in the end I had move on so as not to have my account affected (as I have once witnessed). There has been cases where disputes were resolved in favor of the seller only for the said buyer to run a charge-back from paypal amidst so many other irregularities. You just cited how the incidence has affected a mouth-watering deal you have with someone else, how many more deals have to suffer. perceptive understanding of a client (whether done in error) can help us determine when to pull out when they begin playing to earlier assumptions.
