I had an encounter with one, thinking back, I always laugh or wonder how I was capable of that.

I was returning home from LUTH, my husband was on admission and I was stressed out. I asked him to stop at my bus stop which was just after the traffic light point. The traffic light stopped him and he asked me to alight and I insisted until I get to the bus stop. After the traffic light went green, he just sped on going past my bus stop to the next one which was a junction away. People were calling him out for taking me beyond my stop, I didn't even say a thing. May be he may not even have stopped there but for some women who wanted to come down there.

Immediately, i came down, I just pulled the conductor to me, gave him a very hot slap. People gathered instantly. I was not satisfied, I continued hitting him with the bag I was carrying. I was just past caring. My husband's situation had gotten to me.
Surprisingly, in all of that, the conductor didn't raise a finger, he was just saying "This troublesome woman, carry your problem go" The people prevailed on the situation and he was let off my hook. I think I should've gone instead for the driver. grin grin

The science of human is the most difficult as humans are diverse in nature. Conductors can be unstable not because of d wrapping substance but because they are dealing with people of different characters, temperament, nature and so on. Put yourselves in their shoes before you judge them. Remember not only the people in transportation line smoke.

Being patient with a conductor in Lagos makes u vulnerable, infact u could forget ur change with him because of your mumu patience.
As long as I am on my right, I am down for any conductor. Except you are a sissy

autojosh:
Yeah I am talking about Danfos again, why wouldn’t I ?.When you see them in every nook and cranny .

Today I would be telling you about some tips on how to avoid trouble with Danfo bus conductors.

Lets get started.

1.Know Where You Are Going
You should definitely know where you are going to before you board any Danfo bus.If you don’t ,make sure you ask before boarding the bus.Trust me it wont be funny when you enter a bus going to Sango Ota when your intended location is Sangotedo. You won’t be getting a refund, but you might be getting an exchange of blows. So be sure of where you are going !.

2.Have The Exact Bus Fare
Always have the exact bus fare to avoid troubles. If you are not sure of the exact fare , always make sure you have enough money in lower denominations especially #100 and #50.

3.Speak Politely
Lets be honest most of us talk to them anyhow because they are “conductors”.But they are human, and very extraordinary human beings who are constantly unstable as a result of stress and sometimes alcohol and different botanical species rolled up in paper *winks*.

4.Be Patient
Sometimes even after you have done all the above ,they still act weird and very unstable .You just have to be patient with them .Most fights and sometimes deaths involving passengers and conductors would have been averted if only one or both of them exercised patience.

What do you think ?

Had a funny encounter with a Danfo conductor ?

Kindly comment .

I once entered molue and I predicted something was going to happen even before I entered because I hadn't used one in a very long time. Anyway, I paid one of the conductors but he didn't have change. The next time I saw him and asked for my change, he asked me ' na me you give money?' With a very weird look on his face. I didn't even argue, I just started laughing hysterically. Then he joined too. When I got down, I asked incredibly if he really was going to take my change away. Then he was like just manage this one, gave me half of my change as the bus continued to move. cheesy

Afonjashapmouth:
The gist is conductors, agberos and d the driver's knows better. In most cases they know who to start wahala with and who not to. There are always two types of passengers. Talkers and Doers. Which d doers if operating on a proper leverage will b respected by them.

Engaging in cursing or acting like a tout to make Dem see u r razz makes u vulnerable.. looking like mumu trying to avoid trouble makes u another target. Just know how to balance ur scale. There is no scope to them trust me. I have battled and won them many times on suits because office boy is another of their target. As omo Yiko (street boy) just observe u will know how to handle d one u r riding with shikenah

hmmm, you havent met the one that will remove ur lower jaw teeth
