Okay, one of the acolytes (those people wey dey carry candle) is female

I was an alter server during my early teenage years, all through my time in the association, I never for once came in contact with one female altar server. It appears things are much more different around here. One more thing I noticed was that no one policed anyone to cover their hair when entering church. The ladies left their hair bare.

Finally, the "sign of peace" part of the holy mass lasted more than 20 minutes shocked

Everybody was just hugging and shaking everybody, some were even gisting. grin for real!

Since Pope John Paul 2 approved of female altar servers, I have come across very many in Nigeria, especially in Lag and Abk. But there was a particular priest in my parish some years ago who said he would not allow female altar servers even though several girls were willing to join. So, there was never a female altar server in my Parish.

Regarding the time spent during the sign of peace, again it depends on the priest (even in the US), as some priests officiating will never permit such a lengthy period. Imagine priests who have like three masses to officiate in a day. Msgr Osigweh will never allow that.

So, overall I think it all boils down to the interest of the priest.

Actually, I've never seen any female being queried about covering hair in any parish in Naija. I never knew such could exist sef.

I never saw any female altar server in Port Harcourt, I also have witnessed some Catholic parishes where hair covering is policed strictly. I think it all boils down to location and the parish priest's preferences.

Bro I have been to Europe and Africa. No Mata wat happens even If nijah is gettin broke, africa is still the best place to be anytime anyday. But nigerians are always carried away by what they told abt the happenings over there in the USA and this are part of the reasons why everybods want to travel abroad. #i love naija #based on logistics.

I hate seeing comments like yours. The fact that u had it easy doesn't mean everyone has it easy.Nigerians are the most hardworking set of people I know. Most of our youths you call lazy are known to have two or more jobs when they get to the u.s,most of them get their masters and PhD while their American counterparts are mostly high school graduates.
Do u know how many hardworking graduates are unemployed in Nigeria. Una go just they type nonsense.

Have you been banned from the US?

Which legal work can be making you big money in Nigeria without connection?

So in other to enjoy constant light and clean water I will have to hammer big money first?
