From when it was N1/$2 to its current N311/$.

Yes, there's been inflation.

However, my point is - the dollar exchange rate will hardly improve the lives of Nigerians even if it becomes N86/$ today.
Only 10 years ago, in 2007 it was N108/$.

It's not like Nigerians lived in affluence between 1960 - 1990, when the Naira was higher than, and later on par with the USD.
