He obviously went there to sort out personal issues that's not your sister's business, unless of course if they have a relationship other than boss-employee.
If he wants her to know anything, he will call her.
He's coming back on Sunday, tomorrow is a public holiday.
Does she still want to do anything for him over the weekend?
If not, she should allow the man enjoy his break, unless she has something important to discuss with him.

Biko tell your sis to google the functions of a PA. Secondly, she ought to have asked to set the pace on info shared with her. This is just to enhance her performance on the job. Anyways, tell her to call him...just to ask about how he's faring and if he needs her to do anything for him. It is important she has as much info about her boss as possible... Those info he wants to share of course!

By the way, she's his professional wife. She needs to learn to use the right language when dealing with him. Eg, when she realized he was traveling without informing her, she ought to have asked while making other convo if his trip is related to the business and if he needs her to do anything for him while he's away.

Tell her to keep her work with her boss strictly professional.

If She isn't sure where to draw the line, Google is our wonderful friend that knows everything. Let her Google the duties of a personal secretary or assistant.

She should be careful in dealing with her boss so as not to pass the wrong message across.

If She starts sending messages asking How her boss is faring or what he ate or what he's going there to do, it will seem like She's flirting with him.

He has a wife (I presume), he doesn't need another one in the office asking him How he's faring. He isn't a kid.

Let her keep her phone lines always open in case her boss needs her.

Your sister shouldn't ask him, she might be overstepping her boundaries. Except ofcourse her boss doubles as a lover,then she is asking is madam not as PA.
