Bribery and corruption is part of the Nigerian system.This humiliation is a slight on our nation,no matter the offence,our government officials on field work,especially the police,Vio,road safety officials and the likes should be respected.If they leave the road,then you will know their worth.Hooliganism should be discouraged.

It is easy to conclude the FRSC officials demand for bribe. It it an excuse to cover resistance to change, but there is every reason to believe the mop is expressing their frustration of the hard times we are in. Arrest of cyclist often attract resistance especially as they are locals from harsh background, people driven to the biz by hardship. I suggest the FRSC enlighten more than arrest at this time. Things are so hard. Some of the officials are good and understanding. I appreciate them. The baby can't be thrown away with the bath water! Their usefulness much outweigh the reason for mobbing them. The! Man beating that official can be the victim to be rescued by him. May God give us understanding to approcj issues better.
