Nothing special. Ram management aggressive as usual and battery just the same. It slowed down my charging time for two days before everything became normal again

Yes. For snapdragon phones, it's usually through fastboot/edl.

If you noticed battery drain after updating, do a factory reset.

Always read the feedback from miui forum under your device type to know if the update is worthwhile.

I changed my location to India but yet to see any update on my Mi Max Prime 64GB ROM 3GB RAM. My MIUI is still on 8.03.

Seriously, i have no complain, hardware and software is well optimized. Some says it's too unwieldy, bcoz of its size, but i can operate it well with my left hand (right hand no reach all buttons). Am used to big screen dou and i love big screens. If u are thinking of buying this phone, u better run fast to pick one on et store or Xiaomi online for 265 usd, for the 4/128 gb version. It's running out of stock fast and they are not restocking it. The 3/64gb isn't more available and the 3/32gb is a no brainer to buy at exorbitant rate its going for.
Make ur choice fast

Good hardware is one thing, pairing it with a well optimized software is a different ball game..

One of the few advantages of having a Nexus device, you know the software is gonna be fluid..

that's like a mi max at a better price.
652 is even better than the 650.
