Oga the peace corps,civil defence,road safety,Vio etc are all doing the work of policing.Chapter 6 section 214 (1) of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution states that "There shall be a police force for Nigeria which shall be known as the NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE and subject to the provisions of this section,no other police force shall be established for the federation or any part thereof"

I feel your pain but mention a country without corrupt people. Its in our humanity but I believe with a good welfare package and adequate reform policies,the Nigeria police will be better in the Nearest future
