My boyfriend of 10 months suddenly broke up with me. He’s a widower. His wife died 2 years before we started dating. He talked about her always and I was understanding. They have a child together. He started getting emotional about his late wife when he visited his late wife’s mother and told me he wanted his old life back. He said he just couldn’t move on even though I was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. My friends think I should give him time that he will call but I doubt it. But if he  calls and wants us to get back together, should I give it a try? I just hope the same thing won’t happen again. I really love him. He knows how to treat a woman right. Please advise.

People hardly get over their ex, you think its their dead spouse they will get over easily.

Time does not heal anything, it's what you do with that time that can help you heal( depending on what you choose to do anyways)
