IT certification is the hot cake. The career prospects in IT is so hot like hot beans!!


Courses like Cisco voice over professionals have just 2 people who practice it in Nigeria, making Cisco import foreign professionals.

Both depending on your career path.

1. Accounting: Certifications.
2. Human resources: Certification.
3. IT: Certifications.
4. Engineering: Experience + certifications.
5. Most other ones are basically MBA.

* Academic masters is for those who want to go into academics.
* Professional masters is just an added advantage.

White collar job is slavery except you got federal or state job.

As far as the labour market is concerned non of it is relevant, cos with your masters and certification , you will still get the you are over qualified message, just the right connection then you will be fine.

It depends largely on the sector one is venturing into.
I believe in the academic sector, a masters degree would be valued more than a professional certificate whereas in other 'practical' fields, professional certifications would take one far!!!

It depends on one's life dreams. If you're going for lecturing. Academic Masters. IT if otherwise!

My Friend, Practical/hands on EXPERIENCE is the most important.
