Until we wean ourselves off oil or any other single commodity as a major forex earner, we'd forever revolve around this cycle of blackmail and intimidation.

They should go right ahead and bomb everything in sight including their private apartments if that slights the government. A man who's already down fears no fall.

I didn't want to reply the above but for benefit of doubt i will. Pls try and answer this questions with sincere mind. Least i forget, i am a grounded Akwa Ibom Man,

1. Was there no unfulfilled promises during GEJ era; did u even hear these so call militants threatening to bomb any pipeline?

2. Was GEJ not the president that shld have fulfilled atleast 60% of these unfulfilled promises?what did he do for us down here?
Pls try and go to UKANA in ESSIEN UDIUM L.G.A and see what GODSWILL AKPABIO did to his village nay his Local Government Area and tell me if GEJ didn't have more power and resources to do such in the NIGER DELTA.
Do you knw why Akpabio did that? Simple it may take donkey years before such part of Akwa Ibom State will occupy the seat of a Governor.

3. Do you think all these militants do not have bosses that they pay allegiance to? Talk abt who first started militancy and who control large chunk of ammunition.

4. Do you knw that if all these militants were call to the presidency and money or contract is given, they wouldn't be signing a different tune now?

5. As a NIGER DELTAN, am not happy with Nigeria structure where they kill the Goose that lay the golden egg. I want restructuring, where we can control our resources.

6. Until we have a group(s) of people that will have the interest of NIGER DELTA at heart then all these is like running to nowhere.
7. I like GEJ but he was too slow.

It's almost two years since this government went to campaigns for Manus Abe.

Nigerians are a marvel. There was a country whose leaders dish out promises like rain water for the fun of it. What ND youths are saying, have you taken time to analyse to see if they are on point or off point? What happened to the Ogoni clean up project that was celebrated all over the world? Did you find out if the government is living true to its promises? What about the amnesty issues that the government destroyed with bogus promises?
Well, I am not a fan of any militant or group, I stand for justice! Let the government respect itself!!!!
