Evidence that Uber has a poor recruitment policy, how are their drivers different from the local danfo drivers?
You can recruit somebody who went to the best school, has all kinds of letters of recommendation, and yet steals from you the second you put them in a position of trust.

The story looks very incomplete.

they were so quick to mention NIGERIA but couldn't even try to give even the slightest details of
how this happened.

How and where did the robbery happen?
was the bag forgotten or was it a real robbery ?

abeg this story lacks vitamins, i can't eat it.

Or how can the driver be running on two platforms undecided

Launcher:
Before people start judging, the person reporting this could be a liar like Gifty to get famous or she could have been careless. Isn't there a way to track the driver through his contact?

Another thing I dont understand is, how did she get his picture and was she counting the money in the car? Who snapped the money too?

What beats me is why they always think they won't get caught especially when your information, most especially, your ID is registered in Uber's database. What the hell if wrong with these dumb thieves who end up getting caught. Umu ogbanje.
Anyone who is cursed with a thieving instinct does not apply reason when the urge to steal comes. The urge is overpowering, and erodes common sense.

That sounds about right because i've always thought that if i ever considered stealing as a career path. It will take me months to plan a single thieving event and due diligence will definitely be applied. And one of my modus operandi will be never to steal on impulse. Even if i see 1 billion naira by accident, i won't steal it. But criminals of these days just don't reason.

How did she get robbed. I can't imagine an uber driver would do something this stupid. Now, it could be that she actually forgot the bag in the Taxi. Tehn, it's up to the ubber driver to try to locate her, if they have enough information on her. If he actually robbed her, as she claimed, then he must be an idiot!

Not enough information to put the hammer on anybody.

How can both Taxify and Uber drivers cheat you at the same time.

Are you a cheat yourself.
Re: An Uber Driver Steals Lady's Passport And Money In Lagos (Pictured) by NEIGHBOUR(m): 8:09pm On Apr 25, 2017
Yes, as Uber driver, u can also register the same car with other companies like Taxify and Oga Taxi in order to boost patronage but u can only use one of the Apps at a time. U can't combine Uber and Taxify at the same time. So the lady will easily track the driver if she knows the Coy she used to request for the ride. Nigerians should allow good innovative projects to succeed in Nigeria. Uber is operating in over 100 countries, Nigeria seems most problematic just over one year of take off. We must allow our country to move forward. Uber has created jobs for thousands of our youths and even jobs for hundreds who lost their jobs because of the current recession. I' m a living testimony.

Some week ago, it was a uber driver that was strangled to death by some groups of wicked Nigerian and his body thrown by the wayside with his vehicle stolen in Lagos. The uber driver vehicle was later traced to Edo state and recovered by the Nigeria Police.

In this current report, the story taken a twist with the uber driver being the criminal robbing a foreign visitor of her hard earned dollars.

I think he will be tracked in no time given the sofistication that uber management has on ground.

I think with all the sad report from Jumia and Uber, all this foreign invention may be difficult for Nigerian to have an easy access to them as stiffer laws may come to place to checkmate wicked and disceitful Nigerians.

Uber will certainly find some bigger PADLOCK to checkmate Nigerians and they are working towards that.

You got robbed by taxify ad Uber on the same day? Wow.. In My opinion the story doesn't add up. Taxify and Uber are different Taxi company and you definitely can't enter both same time.

And you took pictures of your money toohuh
Lemme come and b going.
