Fayose can claim biafra for whatever political gains that he can get from it but it should end there. Ekiti people are proudly Yoruba's and they are not connected or related to the ibo's in anyway.

I doubt if that "most educated" statistic about Ekiti is still valid, at least since Fayose came to power. The man hasn't paid teachers their salaries for months despite collecting bailouts and Paris club refunds from the FG. Schools are closing down. Fayose prefers spraying N200 naira and Ofada rice on the streets to sending those kids to schools or building schools for them. I doubt if children in Ekiti still go to school. They prefer watching his ponmo cutting or okada riding shows everyday.

Even dere food is similar there traditional food is pounded yam while a yoruba mans food is amala.
They behave differnt from a proper yoruba man. I believe that sum ibos must have migrated to ekiti in those days to mix with them.

Ekiti man hardly gossip others like the traditional yoruba people and because of their high literacy their acceptance level is very high.
