GeneralOjukwu:You're terrible. how does appearance make behavior? So all the suit wearing, low cut barbing men are well behaved? I know your types :They can easily be deceived by people who fake dressing and attire. I'm sure you're in your 50's else I'd have a better word for you. |

This is really terrible.... I am in Boston Bellville, and i can tell you the rate of crime here is very high. i cannot afford to stay beyond 7pm in the evening outside my hotel or risk being stabbed for as little as 3310 Nokia phone by hoodlums especially the colored ones. I can't wait to finish my assignment here and return home. May his soul RIP! .. Amen viviangist: |

Most of these Igbo boys in SA are into one scam or the other. However, there is no reason to just execute a fellow human being. The SA blacks are chronically jealous of Nigerians and their successful hustles. RIP, no matter your misteps. |

I dont know what might have caused the shooting but, if my memory serves me well Belleville is their capital drug traffing zone in the whole of western cape. Infact they own that area the same way they own Hillbrow in Jburg. Many front with their vendors, selling shoes and jeans but the actual business is drugs. The last time I was there, they actually would place their selling items and go away the entire day without minding their stands/ vendors. Many South Africans actually fear Belleville. Its only when they go in numbers that they freely go shopping there. The sad part is it is very close to one of the universities and obviously, that is the whole point of deciding to sell there. Mind you.......I dont know what caused the shooting. But a nigerian in Bellville means drugs... I want to believe this is a drug deal gone wrong....nigerian against another. |

MARKETfund:Perhaps i should stop arguing against this point of view and just learn from its adherents. Please, how is this Nigerian leaders fault but not the fault of the South African that killed him? And, while you're at it, if you do help me to understand, why was this logic not applied when the Liberian woman hanged herself in Nigeria due to her being ostracised for HIV by the Nigerian community around her. I seem to recall in that instance Nigerians and Liberians did not blame her or the Liberian leaders for her death in Nigeria. Nigerians and Liberians and reviewers from all over Africa that read the story blamed Nigerians and Nigerian leaders. I cant seem to get my head around why Nigerians and Nigerian leaders are terible and at fault for, say, deporting Ghanians and yet also at fault when Ghanaians and others deport our people... ![]() |

Bellville is a notorious neighborhood with high crime rate. Information reaching me is that he was killed by Somalis who bought phone from him. The phone was said to be faulty and he refused to change it; and was shot. #cant verify my source. |
