People have forgotten so soon that 10 years ago. Nigeria market were flooded with chinco phones which is today referred as China phones. Techno, Infinix,Intel and it likes where one chinco phones. Today hardly you see a Nigerian who doesn't use made in China phones all thanks to there government and its citizens who invested so much in technology.while some computer science student here doesn't understand what a programming language is. Instead of you people to support the probuct and encourage them to produce quality products. You guys are here condemning the products. this is what the Europeans are so afraid of the Igbos. Truth be told. Igbos can develop anything just like the westerners if given the right support but tribalism won't let them. I believe if innocen motors were of North or Yorubas,by now it's would have been a law to use it products

I don't jst know y all dis ipob fools on Nairaland will start referring to afonjas after little achievement. How does d purchase of aba made products by d navy affects d development nd progress nd success of d west over other geopolitical zones in Nigeria. What is d GDP of d whole eastern states compared to dat of only lagos? U guys jst fond of making unnecessary noise on threads up nd down... Well wailers will always wail. mind u, its d NIGERIAN NAVY nd not Biafra navy nd if u guys are not confused monkeys, i see no reason why biafra should sell uniforms to d NIGERIAN navy when u think of Russia and America or isreal nd Palestine

The Nigerian navy has indicated interest in patronizing 'Made in Aba' products. A deal between the Navy and the Abia state government when the Governor of the state, Okezie Ikpeazu, in the company of the Commissioner for Industry, Chief Henry Ikoh received a high powered delegation from the Chief of Naval Staff, led by Commodore Chris Obinta at the Abia State Governor's Lodge Aba recently.

Speaking at the occasion, Ikpeazu expressed his profound appreciation to the Federal Government for supporting and given impetus to the "Made_in_Aba" initiative.

Quoting Ikpeazu,

"I commend the Nigeria Navy for indicating interest in procuring their wears from our people here in Aba. I must commend the Federal Government for the support given to our Made-in-Aba promotion campaign."

This deal is coming shortly after Ikpeazu successfully brokered a deal in China for a 1.5 billion dollars shoe industry to be built in Aba. Photos below;
