In as much as the Yorubas respect Awolowo, but as at the time Ojukwu wanted to secede, Western region was under the leadership of Lt Colonel Adebayo just like eastern region leadership was under Ojukwu and not Azikiwe. Also, you guys should provide evidence where Awolowo agreed with Ojukwu that his region will follow Biafra secede or stop concorting lies. He wasn't denied chance of ruling like you said, he contested for president position just like Azikiwe and Ojukwu did, but didn't win.
