[s]yes awo was a very greedy man and was never satisfied. all his ambition was to stop the Igbo from his imaginary domination. he wickedly took their money and gave them paltry 20 pounds. where is that done before? still not satisfied he took over the foreign companies through his Indigenisation Policy just 6 years after the war for the benefits of his tribe knowing fully well that Igbos were economically down and could not afford to buy the shares of those multinational companies. at the end he grounded all the companies through mismanagement. today every new nigeria presidents junket the globe soliciting for foreign investments to berth in nigeria. how can they invest when they know that their investments can be confiscated overnight[/s].

Here is a man whose greed for power was hugely insatiable. After executing his genocidal plot against Biafra women and children and implementing his 419 mentality using govt policy against Biafrans by stealing their money in banks just to fraudulently enrich himself and satisfy his fulani slave masters to be allowed to rule nigeria his greediness and atrocities hunted him badly just as the presidency eluded him bitterly. he had to die a miserable, despicable and horrible death by committing suicide with a very cheap OTAPIAPIA. u.
shut up!! who goes to a war without preparing? so you expect the nigerian government to be féeding biafran citizens during the war? ojukwu was returning bullets with bodies and you are ranting here like a castrated goat.Next time when your lots are going to war be adequately prepared, and to correct your myopic view, the civil war is not genocide if you want to know about genocide check rwanda ,armenia , cambodia, bosnia etc

who are the undisputed Awusa ballz suckers of Nigeria?

After fighting hard to enthroned a sick illiterate ancestor, an entire race are abandoned or discarded or even ignored as though they didn't hustle the presidency together.

Between an eternal ball sucker and people challenging Awusa/Fulani who are slaves.
You have never challenged Hausa/Fulani, you have always been their shooting practice grin

The only tribe that has been challenging the Hausa/Fulani in this country is Yoruba.

You foolishly went into civil war thinking that the Almighty Yorubas that you did not carry along in your madness will support you cheesy

If you read his autobiography 'Awo', a book he wrote years before independence you will see his insecurities against the Igbos. Even in his secondary school, Igbos and ghanians were 'threat' to him academically and socially and he complained bitterly about them, you could cut his real jealosy with a knife if read that book.

All the companies he stole and handed over to yoruba post-war are all moribund today. grin

Where is stationary store? Dead
Where is Leventis? Dead
Kingsway? Dead
Lever brothers? dead
Costain? Dead

No be curse? grin
Must you tell lies to get your point across to others? Kindly tell us how Awolowo 'stole' those companies listed up here, you liar. sad

Stationary Stores was founded by the late Chief Israel Adebajo, who ran the Nigeria office of the Stationery Stores Supply Company. So how was it stolen by Awolowo? huh

Leventis Plc formerly known as A.G. Leventis & Co. (Nig.) Ltd. commenced its commercial activities in Nigeria in 1922, when its first landed asset was acquired, that same year. This act together with the owner’s fascination with real estate led to the acquisition and development of many properties. In 1994, when the company became a public liability company, its property portfolio had gradually increased to 86 properties of variable sizes, degrees of development and uses, scattered all over the Federation. This led to the creation of a Real Estate Division to manage these properties in the best manner to suit the company’s operations, as well as profit generation. Today, Leventis owns other subsidiaries such as Chrisstahl Nigeria Ltd, Druckfarben Nigeria Ltd, Leventis Foods Ltd and Leventis Motors. Now let us know how Awo stole it and what year the company was declared 'dead', to use your own words. sad
THE history of A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Plc started when Chief Anastasios G. Leventis formed a trading company known as A.G. Leventis & Company Limited in Ghana, in 1937, to originally engage in agricultural produce buying, and importation and sale of textile goods.

The company later expanded into properties and general trading, especially, the sales and service of motor vehicles.

The company, in fact, restructured later devolved into Leventis Motors Limited (established in 1958), Leventis Stores Limited (1965), Leventis Technical Limited (1972), whilst it retained ownership of valuable freehold and leasehold property throughout the country.

Through mergers and acquisition schemes, the afore-mentioned companies merged with A. G. Leventis (Nigeria) Plc. to become A.G. Leventis (AGL) Group. The group is a leading manufacturing and distribution corporation in West Africa. It provides a variety of products and services, in power and gas products, consumer food pastry and bakery products, real estate, hotelling, auto sales and after sales services and stationery supplies. https://guardian.ng/saturday-magazine/cover/forgotten-brides-companies-that-colonialisation-built-in-nigeria/
Lever Brothers Limited was renamed Unilever Plc. Today it is one of the most successful FMCG companies listed on the stock exchange. What exactly did Awolowo steal from it before he died, and what led to the so-called death of the company, like you erroneously claimed? undecided
Unilever Nigeria Plc, was incorporated as Lever Brothers (West Africa) Ltd on the 11th of April, 1923 but the company actually started with the founder’s trading interests in Nigeria and West Africa since the 19th century. Unilever Nigeria Plc started as a soap manufacturing company, and is today one of the oldest surviving manufacturing organizations in Nigeria.

After series of mergers/acquisitions, the company diversified into manufacturing and marketing of foods, non-soapy detergents and personal care products. These mergers/acquisitions brought in Lipton Nigeria Ltd in 1985, Cheesebrough Ponds Industries Ltd in 1988. The company changed its name to Unilever Nigeria Plc in 2001. Unilever Nigeria Plc is a public liability company quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange since 1973 with Nigerians currently having 49% of equity holdings. Unilever’s products covers Food Brands such as Blue Band, Knorr, Lipton, Royco, Personal Care Brands like Close up, Lifebuoy, Lux, Vaseline and Home Care Brands like Omo, Sunlight.

The head office is at No. 1, Billings Way, Oregun, Lagos. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.projectlightupnigeria.com/corporate-nigeria/unilever.html
Costain West Africa Plc was incorporated in 1948. As a private limited company in Nigeria, it took over the various works being undertaken by John Holt and Company (Liverpool) Limited’s building department. The shares of the company are still being traded actively on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) even as we speak. So who killed it, and made you declare that it was dead?
Over the last 60 years, Costain West Africa Plc has executed a wide range of building and civil engineering projects, throughout Nigeria for private organizations, Federal and State Governments. It has been able to leverage the experience and strength of the Costain Group's worldwide activities. Costain West Africa Plc went public on the 13th of March, 1974. Its shares were quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) subsequently. Costain West Africa Plc was the first construction company to be quoted on the NSE. It is now independent of the Costain UK Group. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.projectlightupnigeria.com/corporate-nigeria/costain.html
Kingsway Stores was established by the United African Company (UAC) the British conglomerate. Kingsway was one of the largest departmental stores in the country during its time. The store brought in a mixture of general consumer goods and fabrics that were mostly common to western consumers. The company also created coffee outlet, which evolved into quick service restaurants.

In 1973, this coffee outlet was rebranded Kingsway Rendezvous. However, as a result of economic downturn of the 1980s, Kingsway stores wound up, but the Kingsway Rendezvous was retained and renamed Mr. Bigg’s. So kindly let us know what items the late Awo stole from the defunct Kingsway stores, that you had to malign his memory so badly.
The annexation of Lagos by colonial resource hunters presented opportunity for foreign merchants to invest in retail and merchandise outlets for their imports. However, the traditional open market system and fairs, like those in Mexico, proved to be a major competitor for the shops.

Therefore, a type of modern shop that later emerged was the departmental store — a large shop with sales upwards of £100,000. The first of such venture in Nigeria was Kingsway Stores, established in 1948. It was incorporated with an equity capital of about £4m. https://guardian.ng/saturday-magazine/cover/forgotten-brides-companies-that-colonialisation-built-in-nigeria/

Ojukwu was making fun of him. Awolowo initiated currency change that made Biafra lost d war. He promised that if the East seceedes the West wud follow which he did not an act of betrayal. He fought to preserve the unity of a country but was denied the chance of ruling that country. What a way to reward him cos it is d right of the north to rule "One Nigeria". U admitted that his imprisonment was because he opposed his masters in the north. Does that not show u that he was short sighted to see the future of a Nigeria forever ruled by the north and its resources in the south controlled by north. Great politician my foot
Think very well before you make a comment. Now lemme school you on Nigeria history. Awolowo wasn't a soldier, neither was he the military governor of western Nigeria that time. So now tell me how he could have made the west secede? In as much as the Yorubas respect Awolowo, but as at the time Ojukwu wanted to secede, Western region was under the leadership of Lt Colonel Adebayo just like eastern region leadership was under Ojukwu and not Azikiwe. Also, you guys should provide evidence where Awolowo agreed with Ojukwu that his region will follow Biafra secede or stop concorting lies. He wasn't denied chance of ruling like you said, he contested for president position just like Azikiwe and Ojukwu did, but didn't win. If you call Awolowo short sighted, that means both Azikiwe and Ojukwu were more short sighted because not only did Ojukwu lost the secession war, he came back to his vomit by contesting for senate and presidency and losing massively on both occasions while Azikiwe did not only lost presidency, he was never accorded respect by his kinsmen.
The domination of Northerners was as a result of military interfering in politics which was started by a delta-igbo guy Chukwuma Nzeogwu. Military had no business in politics, and the moment they did, Nigeria has been paying for the aftermath.

Nigeria is a British creation for oil business. Britain is the imperialist power using Awusa/Fulani as tool to continue taking oil and all they want.

The civil war was a war against imperialists. At the early stage we matched up to Ore before Britain and other world powers stepped in to aid their tools.

Talking about joining, SW lacks courage to fight. have you heard of the Dahomey ladies chasing Yoruba people in that war.Did you hear about the snatching of Ilorin and enthronement of a Fulani king.did you hear recently the out cry of Wole Soyinka that Fulani have matched into his compound.Did you hear of the mayhem and houses destroyed at mile 12 lagos by Awusa a men?Did you watch the video where Adisa and Oladipo Diya were cry like babies before Abacha for their lives?

Abiolo and kudirat where sent to the great beyond by Awusa.
Did you know that why Awolowo took his life was because of the humiliation he suffered from Awusa after they locked him in prison.

I don't want to start bashing the Igbos because there are still few sensible ones among you.

This one that doesn't know shiit about history is talking with her ass. Dahomey ladies chased Yoruba in war? I can't stop laughing. For your ignorant ass, google Egba-Dahomey war, and google Oshogbo war to know the fate of the Fulani. I know you guys masturbate over saying Awolowo took his life, but if you think a man that lived to ripe age of 78 years took his life, pray that you never get to that age in your life so that you don't take yours too. If any has to take his life between Awolowo and Azikiwe, it must be Azikiwe because he was neglected and accused of betraying his people while Awolowo was loved and still loved by Yoruba till date. Use less sentiment and think like a normal person

I like it when I hit you guys with the raw truth and you go about spiting insults allover the place. hahahah.

Ask your very self if it is a Yoruba man that sits in Ilorin as the paramount traditional ruler. It is a Fulani EMIRE .I think that means traditionally the place is linked or under the Fulani Empire or emirate. hahahah!

Before your very eyes kogi is going OK,hahahah or even gone. They now refer to it as a northern state. hahahah.

You said Awolowo died at 78.agreed.lolz.what killed him?

Please did the Fulani people make you their mouthpiece over the issue of Ilorin, that you are carrying their matter on your head like pure water sachet?? huh Where is your appointment letter? Why are you so pained over this Fulani matter? The same Fulani whose soldiers sent millions of your people to their death during the civil war, are the ones whose cause you are wailing over like this? Chai! shocked
