Soyinka was once a man that I respected.

But when it comes to politics he has deep flaws.

I would love for him to justify his support of Buhari.

#WhereIsBuhari

Why the sudden change to silence mode?
The minister and his girlfriend have distributed dollars to the "activists".
Abi is that not a covert operation to cover up the sick old man in the other room?
Did Wole Soyinka not eat N200 million dinner when the minister was governor of Rivers state?
Na dem dem.
Paddy paddy.
Arrangee government.

From my perspective, the only help we can offer the ailing President is to pray he regains his health, even though I believe his sickness is as a result of old age.

And as for the presido, I just wish he could just swallow his pride and resign to take care of himself.

Though, I'm pro-buhari but I believe a sick president is as good as not having a President.
Get well soon.

And some Igbo youths will turn around and insult the erudite Prof. A man who at 76 years of age at the time, would still come out and protest against injustice - regardless of what tribe the victim was from.

This is a man that went to prison in his own country because he spoke against Biafra. He spoke out against military rule and tyranny. He has scares to show for it. Then some ill-mannered idiots will dare speak against him because he called out Jonathan.

Prof, we appreciate your struggle over all these years. You are one of the most distinguished Nigerians still alive and we hope you live many more years.

So because he is yoruba now people can't call him out wen he make a blunder. When the issue of green card came up people from every part of the country were trolling on him to tear his green card like he promised in the event of a Trump win so why do u v to single out the Igbos? I have maximum respect for Soyinka coz he has always stood up for Justice so personally I can excuse his excesses if any. I quoted u because u generalised so next time make ur point without referring to any body. Some Yorubas here are also fond of insulting Igbo elders so call them to order too. Happy workers day

All the noise makers have become silent. Its now obvious to us all that their cry then was not to improve things but opposition elements hiding under different gimicks to harass the government of the day. We have the same scenerio as in Yar adua but they have all remained mute.

The question is 'why can't Soyinka stage a protest for the whereabouts of Buhari or even appear in the company of those asking after PMB? That is what we want for now and not the praises you're pouring on him. It's futile
