Religious tourism is a huge scam and you hope the story is not true?

As in, you want this huge scam to continue to exist in your country?

point of correction, they are relocating cos Nigerians are wiser . Truth be told there are a lot of pastors claiming to perform miracles nowadays so they no longer have monopoly to scams . In other words , maga no dey pay again so they are moving to fresh ground or blood. Let them all go so Nigerians can think for themselves and build their nation .
TB Joshua is an exception. A man that doesn't have a house of his own. Take your time and study is ministry from inception by watching Emmanuel TV and his biography.

Although you are right that there are other forms of tourism, i doubt if there is any other form that is as cheap as religious tourism.

For Medical you have to build world class hospitals

For nature you have to build infrastructure to get people there, that's assuming we have enough of such natural beauty spots to attract foreigners.
There are hundreds of places on the earth outside Nigeria that have unbelievably beautiful and tranquil spots.

Adventure tourism requires you invest in helicopters and mobile emergency clinics to treat the wounded.

I could go on and on but Religious doesnt require anything more than hotels for the foreigners to stay in.

@Kondomatic I was talking about the story that says the FG is pleading with the pastor to stay back in the country. Of course religious tourism is a major scam. There are other forms of tourism to exploit. So why waste our time?
Re: Lai Mohammed Urges TB Joshua To Remain In Nigeria by Nobody: 11:44am On May 03, 2017
@ mansakhalifa

So you are wiser than the people who polled that he attracts the largest number of foreigners to Nigeria ?

Do you know that keeping quiet sometimes is wiser than talking ?

@Naughtysite what your pastor offers is a morbid form of religious tourism-namely packing foreigners into structurally unsound buildings that end up collapsing. We don't want that sort of tourism here. You over-religious people make me go livid with rage. Take my advice, keep quiet and watch proceedings from the sidelines, sir.

It is evident you are one of TB Joshua followers. Resulting to insult and abuse will not make me change my stance. If your Pastor likes, let him relocate to Bangladesh, Nigeria will not cease to exist only dogmatic followers like you will be affected.

Thank you. Tb Joshua himself has been saying it, that fellow xtians are his problem. He even praised the late president shehu Musa yardua(emphasising that he was a muslim) for acknowledging him for the large numbers of tourists he is attracting to Nigeria. Even last week apostle suleiman blasted tb Joshua, saying he is "too small".
Abeg lie small for suleman matta. Sule blasted him few months back not last week

Buhari never asked to be healed moreover T.B Joshua is only an instrument to Yahweh's ministration. It's now left for Buhari to seek the face of Yahweh by visiting SCOAN

If it is in God's will for him to leave so be it. But Lai Mohammed should understand that SCOAN was not mean for religious tourism, it is spiritual matter and salvation experience... Nigeria will never agree to live in peace T.B Joshua's ministry has face several persecute since then but he keep ignoring such things. Who are we to judge him from the inside out? Only God.

Prophet TB Joshua is a great source of tourists attraction to Nigeria. People come from all over the world to attend his programmes, the government should do all to stop him from taking his programmes to Israel. I'm not his follower but I knew long time ago when I was in South Africa that people were coming to Nigeria for his programmes. A senior immigration attache in South Africa also told me that 80% of South Africans that apply for Nigeria visa are religious pilgrimage and TB Joshua account for larger proportion. I also met lots of South Africans that told me they come annually to Nigeria to attend TB Joshua programmes. So, this is a great source of forex earnings for Nigeria and also a source of good revenue for government, I expect you to know this as a political analyst but I see you don't know which makes me to reply you. If he take his programmes to Israel, it's a loss to Nigeria while it's a great gain for Israel. I now realise that some of us don't know anything about policies but only politics. Don't blame any politicians anymore cause you have shown same level of public policy knowledge which is why Nigeria is backward cause we don't have qualified hands as politicians and policy makers.
Re: Lai Mohammed Urges TB Joshua To Remain In Nigeria by kenyad: 12:50pm On May 03, 2017
God bless you my dear brother, he must not leave ooooooo, this is a matter that government must attend to seriously. Its going to be a great loss to Nigeria and a gain to Israel. I just replied one political analyst on Nairaland now (sarrki), he was asking what's his benefits.

Lusola15:
The oyinbo men have done their research and have seen the level of foreign exchange the man brings into the Nigerian economy, they have given the man free land and other facilities not because they like him but for what he can bring to their economy

If he leaves businesses in alimosho area will suffer, banks, hotels, eateries etc

Acidosis:
Check out majority of the longstanding Christian televisions, all cited in South Africa. From Loveworld tv (Oyakhilome) to Emmanuel tv (T.B Joshua).

A former president of this country unilaterally banned all religious televisions. South Africa embraced and welcomed them over 20 years ago. Today, we are still far from attaining the level of development SA has attained.

We keep blaming our collective idioc.y on religion, whilst living in phantom 'foolery'.

At bolded: It was the PFN, Nigerian pastors that pushed OBJ with their petitions against Pastor Chris Oyakhilome but it backfired on them, because none of them can match the reach of Christ Embassy worldwide now.

Let's say it as it is. Anyways, they were working to fulfil God's plan, just like those who crucified the Lord.
