It would be Nikola Tesla and erm probably biblical King solomon.Nikola tesla was a man of fearsome genius.I guess we could be charging our phone wirelessly using the earth's magnetic(or whatever)field if his works were not tampered with.I can't go broke again with that kinda knowledge.
And for solomon,I'll like to ask him how he managed to manage 1000 women and still died of old age and not food poisoning.

If you chose Solomon because of his wealth and wisdom, I think you'd be a bit disappointed because the Bible sort of exaggerated both qualities.

I don't think Adam can be classified as a historical figure. For me he is more or less a fictional character. Same as Moses.

If these men cld also be described as historical figures then Napoleon Bonarpate,St. Augustine and St Francis of Assisi
I want to understand the mind set of Napoleon and how he was able to conquer and got to a great height of controlling men with alacrity,at a very young age. His dexterity in running over great armies! He has gat so many questions to answer.
St. Augustine,from a very bad womanizer to a healer of broken hearts.
Then St. Francis how he cld communicate with animals and in some instances,was reported to have biolocated! These are no easy achievements,some of us who have been involved in spiritualism,paronormal and extra sensory activities etc knows that it is never an easy achievement.

Okay, your post is the most interesting one I have read so far. I would like to know, what exactly did St Francis attribute these his paranormal achievements to? And how was he able to reconcile it with his faith? Bear in mind that I have never read about this claim before and so I am just deciding to agree it happened, for the sake of interesting conversation.

When a claim is made, the burden of proof rests with the person making the claim.

Anyone can make any claim that cannot be falsified, but because it can't be falsified doesn't make it valid. You don't dignify claims on the basis of there being no proof for the invalidity of the claim. You dignify claims on the basis of substantial evidence for such claims.

I could make a claim that last night I talked to an Alien with two heads, and going by your logic, everyone should take me seriously since there is no proof that my claim is false, despite there being no proof that my claim is true. But that's not the rational way to arrive at a valid conclusion. The rational process is for me to first provide evidence that my claim is true.
