Yeah, Buhari's continued absence is no big deal. Stagnation on the budget is no big deal either. How these affect payments, interest paid on loans; salaries, school fees, food on the cmon man's table . . . they couldn't care less so long as their immoral allowances are steady.

The present NASS under the leadership of Saraki is supposed to be a blessing to this country. This is because, his choice was not influenced by the Executives. DSP is from an opposition party with many members. And Saraki has the support of many across party lines. Thus, there is a balance of power btw the Executive and the Legislature. But the NASS is not using this to our advantage, but rather, for their own benefit. And when you consider how some wicked people in Aso Villa are pushing PMB on a collision course with the Senate, then you will realize that we are in trouble, due to lack of harmony btw the 2 arms. Hence, imp national issues ar not given the needed attention.
