The APC led government obviously shot themselves in the foot but that crass act. Now they either go for broke by slamming him harder or just let him be and hope 2019 is far enough time for them to overtake.

That election was seen as we against them in the north. But, 2019 it will be northerner against northerner! You will see the crowd on polling day!

#Truth Jigawa State hasn't got a Governor as useful as Gov. Sule Lamido. The developmental strides recorded by his administration baffles all within the Northern enclave and beyond.

What surprises me is how some people would want to destabilize him for their selfish gains.

Yes he would love to contest for the office of the President of Nigeria and that frightens many especially the weaklings in the political sphere of the APC and PDP alike

Abeg list these 'developmental strides' the 2 term Governor made.

All you paid lackeys do is sling buzzwords without laying down facts.

Wondering why the APC and the Jigawa state Governor are having sleepless nights over Alhaji Sule Lamido?

This grassroot politician is well loved by his people, a core Obasanjo ally and Former Minister under the former, Lamido is today an institution in Northern Nigeria, it appears the attempt to rubbish his reputation and destroy his political career with draconian bail conditions & persecution has only served to bolster his popularity especially among the neglected and exploited in the North.

It appears the Northern Youths are no more interested in the the imaginary 5000 naira stipend, the 2 million Ghost jobs and other empty promises, hence their switch of allegiance to the leader of the Talakawas ( downtrodden).

This crowd gathered just to escort him from the court home after he was granted bail

Really? He is so popular but his party, PDP, and his candidates (practically selected by him) in ALL elections in 2015 (State House of Assembly, National Assembly, Governorship, and Presidential) were thoroughly beaten (in fact mercilessly trounced) by APC candidates!

Delusion of grandeur! LOL. Lamido ko, Lamidi ni.

This is a thief who (together with his sons) are on trial in our courts for embezzlement. Some of us who know some of these politicians are not deceived. Lamido is a thief (as are others)!

Where is Sule Lamido in your pictures?
Is he your candidate for next election?
"Don't forget the people from your region don't like the northerners" or you now like any northerner now because PMB is fighting corruption?

Does that mean we are voting for another burukutu drinking mallam from northern Nigeria? I thought Hausa people were our problems. So is the op now campaigning for Lamido - hausa/Fulani that he loves to insult so much? Gej government also threw the books at Lamido and his sons. Don't make it look like APC singling Lamido out.

Your post reeks of ignorance and bigotry with particular reference your association of the Hausa/Fulani with the consumption of burkutu, which is a local brew containing alcohol.

He had much bigger crowds during his electioneering campaigns in 2015 and still lost. I am not saying he is not popular but those knowledgeable in this area will know that the size of the crowd is not necessarily an indication of his popularity or ability to deliver in an election. I have seen a politician fill a big stadium and still got less than 5000 votes in the election proper.

not surprised. this is how northerners celebrate their own even if the celebrant is a nuisance.
northerners are not patriotic to the nation. they are only patriotic to any leader from their region or anybody from their region that they perceive as a potential political leader.
pathetic people
The same way the celebrated, Ibori and Bode George is a Nigeria tin nt peculiar to the north alone but then it is a bad mentality

What exactly do you mean by destabilized?
Did Lamido instigated his supporters to commit violent or not?

He said he will only come to the police station to bail any supporter that has cut off somebody's hand or leg.
So you don't make anything of that.

The governor really goofed, the arrest of Sule Lamido drew sympathy to him but truth be told Sule Lamido is not loved in the entire north may be his state where he has modestly performed as governor.

The person to beat to be president from the north post Buhari is Kwankwaso, mainly due to his performance while he was governor of kano, he is a no nonsense man, he stood with the masses during GEJ maladministration, he is very much loved in kano a state that can almost produce total vote of some region, he is relatively well educated and a dogged politician
All the governors during GEJ performed better than under Sai Baba's incompetent administration! FACT!!!

He wasn't on the ballot in 2015. And the election of 2015 was seen in the conservative north as ethno-religious renaissance! They all ganged up against a come enemy GEJ. 2019 will be completely different cos it will be north V north!
