Nairaland has been around for quiet a long time now.We all know that its the biggest Nigerian online forum everything in life gets more appreciation and attention if it gets regular updates.There are a few things i think nairaland will add to make it better.

1.Ability To Block Some Members
This i believe is one of the most wanted feature we want over here.If i block someone in nairaland for example,the person will never see any of my posts again nor comment on them and even if someone else posts,neither of us can see each others comments.

2.Ability To Revoke Posts
Instead of just having modify,report etc below each post,we should also be able to delete them,the person who created the topic (OP) should also be able to remove unreasonable comments from his thread.

3.A JavaScript Version of Nairaland
A javascripted UI will enable us like a comment and proceed further without reloading the page.Browsers like chrome,UC browser would be needed to access this version of nairaland.However,it should be different for non javascript browsers like uc mini.

3.Text Modification
One should be able to modify texts such as bolden, italicized texts etc without having to reload the page for changes to take effect.

May be u can help Seun patch the website, since u know the features whey go make it interesting (ITK)

5.The Ability To Unlike Comments One May later decide arent worth liking anymore.This will also be worth it.

6.A Different Site Layout For Certain Types Of Posts like discussion threads.It should have more than one user interface.

This is working well.... Use the browsers you stated and check if the page will reload after liking sharing, following user or thread

7.Anti-Spam Mechanisms
Nairaland should properly fix their antispam methods.Writing a long post doesnt necessarily means one is spamming.I hate having to post a point at a time to avoid being banned temporarily.

8.Ability To Message Ones Followers Within The Site privately.

9.Photo As Comment
We should be able to use just a photo to comment without saying anything.Sometimes one photo will make you express yourself clearly like its done on facebook.

10.Ability To Rate Posts
Nairalanders should be able to rate a post.This makes it better known if the post is worth front page.

11.Proper Post Review
Posts should be review as they are rated by other nairalanders.Sometimes creative writeups never get to front page but when someone posts rubbish like for example "laura ikeji flaunts cleavage in these stunning instagram photos" "Davido buys a new wristwatch" and all other kenyan stuff.They all reach front page.Nairaland shouldn't be turned to celebrity gossip site for Gods sake.

12.Making A Nairaland Medium
A medium where people can make posts arranged should be made.It could be like a facebook page,youtube channel etc.Then all a nairalander does is to join or subscribe to the page/channel for him/her to recieve feeds from that particular channel/page.Organisations that do buiseness in Nigeria will rush to Nairaland and this makes it easier to reach Nigerians.For posts to appear on everyones page/channel feed box,the person must pay a big amount of money to Nairaland.That will make Nigerians to own something more like a forum and social network combined.

13. Ability to BAN nairaland member to UN BAN him or herself

I think the 'Nairaland Search' should be better, because it doesn't help at all, you try and search for something, the results you'll get will be nearly half the articles on Wikipedia..
