Anyways, what else is expected?

Every civil society from the beginning of time is founded upon its institutions.

The Nigerian society was founded on, in no particular order,

Respectable religious institutions
Law enforcement
Education
Health
Responsible government
Agriculture
Science and Technology
Security

and couple more that memory fails me on.

However, these institutions have failed woefully.

Religious institutions either preach fanaticism and disunity or material prosperity that is not necessarily backed by commensurate value-adding.

There's really no need to speak on the other institutions.

Reviving Nigeria should mean breathing air into the lungs of these institutions one by one until they're all working well autonomously.

Until this happens, being "fantastically corrupt" may as well just be a compliment.
