This is a simple question though the answer is not of the same. Traces of what to expect in the next election still doesn't field a tangible Igbo presidential candidate. The 2 major political Parties are not thinking in that direction.

When will we have an Igbo president?
An Igbo president is irrelevant. We have had Yoruba Presidents, Hausa presidents, Ijaw president and currently, we have a Fulani president. Where is Nigeria today?

For me as an Igbo man, there other things that are far more important than one of my kinsmen becoming president of the jungle called Nigeria

Benjamin Nnamdi Azikiwe, First President of Nigeria

We had ibo president and even ibo head of state and Vice president too.

Learn your history.

I don't even know if they still teach kids social studies in Nigeria.
I wonder what you were really
taught. Nnamdi Azikiwe was a ceremonial president; he's a figurehead with little power as the office of the Prime Minister was more recognized.

Don't forget that Aguiyi Ironsi, the first military Head was there for just a period less than a year. His removal among other issues led to the civil war.

What's a vice President when you got a president? The office of the vice president is subjected to that of the president. It remains a decorative office until the principal is taken out. There's more power in the office of the Senate President than that of the Vice president.

So not the point, sir. Though I understand what you driving at, but in order to achieve political balance and extinguish the idea of marginalization, an Igbo president must be allowed.

Not true. If Nigeria had been restructured and every zone controling their resources, it wouldnt matter if the president of Nigeria was from planet Mars. If Igbos have to get the Presidency of Nigeria to end their maginalisation and have a sense of belonging then what is the point of Nigeria? Wont Igbos eventually hand over to someone else? It means that it is much better for Igbos to strive for their own country where they wont have bother about the presidency or marginalisation any more.

There are more important things than Igbo presidency

You've actually made the point. There's no point for a "Nigeria" because the constituent major tribes are so diverse and the acceptable show of integration or unity is to make sure each tribe is represented as head with time.

Aguiyi Irons was a Nigerian head of state even if he was the head of state for half a second, he still was the head of state and ibo. PERIOD.

Abi if den ask you for WAEC, you go say no because of the rubbish excuses you just spewed.?

This how people fail WAEC.

What is this unity beggar saying? If they used half the money your parents use for owambe to teach you history, by now you must have traced the history of your tribe. Or are you among those that believe Oduduwa /lucifer fell from the sky?

Coming from a joker with zero knowledge about his own history while still waiting for the FG to teach him his own history that his forefathers were president of Nigeria and head of state.

Talk about lost generation of only hate and bitterness and zero relevant history about their past.

Sucks to be you for real.
