How did we get here?

This man came and ruined everything then got sick and left for London. The funny thing is, we will not be hearing of him, even if he dies there, the news will not be broken to anyone and a corpse and its cabal could rule over the country.

Why did we put ourselves in this mess. Now the government remains on autopilot. Osinbanjo is too weak to wrestle for power.

What's this cabal excuse you guys are always giving these days? If Buhari was the no-nonsense anti-corruption crusader he's been pretending to be, would there even be a cabal pulling the strings?

I don't understand this nonsense. If the president is sick and isn't fit to govern the country, he should resign. Why stay away indefinitely? I mean isn't that a breach of the constitution?

So , The letter didn't even made mention of Handing over to VP, which means the Acting President don't even have the full power to do everything.... Then someone brought the issue up , The born to rule northerners discard it.. SMH for this Country...

Saraki and Lawan are right. Ohuabunwa is wrong.

Section 145 of the constitution does not require president to write to transmit power to the VP. That is automatic once he writes to go on leave.

"Where the President transmits to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, a written declaration that he is proceeding on vacation or that he is otherwise unable to discharge the functions of his office, until he transmits to them in written declaration to the contrary, such functions shall be discharged by Vice-President as Acting President"

So you can see that wordings of the president's letter is irrelevant so long as he writes that he is on vacation.

He can't avoid death

Why the hell doesn't he quit
His no hero for Nigeria
Why then do he insist on being president

I wouldnt mind having an effective sick president on seat
But hell no to Buhari
Its just a matter of time his body quits even if he doesn't

He will receiving salary, abi?

The truth is that the cabals want to keep dabbling with power until 2019 or close to next to it, so that the VP will not have enough time to campaign or contest for the presidential election. That way, they can field their own candidate and return power to the North.

Note that as long as the President keeps handing over to the Vice, the vice can never have full control of power. He is incapacitated in many ways, to take major decisions he must dialog with the president cabals. And he must at all times show loyalty to his boss. If he tries otherwise, they will uproot him!

Mind you, if President Buhari recontests for next election, he will most likely most likely pick another VP, to keep that position in check! And also, that way, he will have a more loyal, less-informed person under him for the next 4 years.

My humble submission sha
you should have list reasons why you think the vice president is not loyal to his boss that will warrant changing him in 2019

I'm not saying he is not loyal. I'm saying that they will most likely replace him to keep the presidential position in check. Also .... I wrote the rest. Please read. Reading intently enhances understanding.

By the way, pay more attention to your tenses.

. May be you are bias and sentimental and you can only think of indefinitely as a long period of time . This is why we have problems in this country. Always trying to look at things from one perspective. Indefinitely could be one week, two weeks, one month ,two years or more.

I'm confused please. Which of these time frames is the short term and the long term? At what point should we get worried? Anyway, you don't need to response. Whenever Bubu returns, we can revisit these posts. Thanks

You are going away indefinitely, yet you didn't transmit power to the vice president to act on your behalf yet nobody saw anything wrong with this. Ok, kwantinue to rule in absentia.

. You don't need to get worried of anything. You worries cant heel the president neither can it help Nigeria everything happens according to the will of God. Or can you help God? So let the old man be. He has done what he is supposed to do. Your hate for PMB is louder than the worries you claimed you have for him. I am still expecting my state governor, Fayose, the CIC of wailers and your role model to come out and make his own 'worrisome statement' on this.
