I hv been contemplating of learning a skill that will be profitable and less tasking for a lady. I was advised on tailor but I'm not too sure of what the experience would be like

Learn, programing, graphics design.

shoe making, bags and bangles and u can learn baking as well.

If you are between 12 and 15, you can start learning programming so that by the time you are 20 you must have gone far in it. But if you are over 20 years and you want a skill to learn in short period of time and be good at it and also want it to be a source of income, then go for graphics.
Programming takes years and no employer would like to employ a learner. Am not discouraging you, but if you have a drive for it, then you going into but but you have to give it your 100% time and seriousness to be good in short time.
