Austerity (recession) started under Shagari at least 2 years before he was toppled. Nigeria's most prosperous period was in Obasanjo's second term as civilian President (2003-2007).

Every successful coup must have a national spread because of the military divisions, Buhari was manning one, for the rest of your rant, it does not merit a response.
