my brother,i believe in agreement.before 1999,political heavyweights in nigeria agreed for a north-south rotation of presidency and since the north had ruled most of the time through the military,they agreed for the north to relax for the south to have the first shot which left Alex Ekwueme and Obj to slug it out.but the ingrate bypassed all the healthy northern candidates to support a sick man with hope of controlling the seemingly weak jonathan and when it couldn't work he destroyed the party that brought him to power.now tinubu have played the same card.do you know that it was the area boy politics in the western house in the 60s between awo and Akintola that made the five majors to strike but funny enough the western region joined the north to fight a civil war they contributed to ignite.

1. It was led by Nzeogwu, who is from present day Delta state. Same people that most would conveniently chose to identify as "not Ibo" and often chose to be referred to as SS.

Assuming Delta is not Ibo as raised in point #1, Is it correct to say:

a. The 1966 coup was south-south led ? as against the general belief that it was ibo led.

b. if you say it's ibo led then Delta is ibo by deduction !

You can't brand the 1966 coup Ibo led and then go ahead to say, delta is not Ibo !

Why Did the Igbo Led Coup Affects Northern And South West Leaders alone? See, you have no point whatsoever. The same reasons Nzeogwu guys gave as been Noted by Awolowo years before the bloody coup. Awolowo ctold the Eastern leaders that they Should let them include Sesession Clause in the then Constitution but He and Enahoro were labeled racist and " one Nigeria" slogan came to be by the Igbos back then. Even before Awolowo's alarm, colonial masters once said let each region be on it own fully. But Igbo's said "we are not ready". That was before 1960. Arrogance nailed you Igbo's. Yoruba Empire is a united and Big Empire bro. We look before we leap.
