A senator is supposed to seek the services of a professional doctor not quack

A medical doctor can't gv d combination of that drugs.
The CMD is obviously trying to cover up the doctor.

Many of them can because they lack good knowledge of drugs. One gave tramadol to treat pregnancy-induced hypertension.

So many things are wrong with Nigeria. Too bad!
Haha! Too bad given pain releiver. Kai. instead to be given SALI... ....

This is a very unprofessional testimony by the CMD. Was a toxicology screen done? This usually takes three weeks, so how could the CMD know for sure that it was an overdose of the injections that killed Chief Adeleke? Are there toxicology results that can show this?
My brother, I don't think we have any hospital that can carry out toxicology screening. In developed countries, it's usually done to check the serum level of the patient. As to monitor the drugs that is toxic to the body. Even, NAFDAC CAN'T CARRY OUT TOXICOLOGY SCREENING.

The doctor has entered one chance. I no they are playing politics with this their stupid investigation cos how will a professional doctor use a banned drug not on a commuter o but a public figure. Doctor may the good lord see you through this if u are innocent. And to nairalanders eeee oni rogun alakoba ooooo
So it's cool if he had given the banned injection to a commuter?
Re: Adeleke Was Given Overdose Of Banned Injection – LAUTECH CMD by ziga: 12:20pm On May 16, 2017
Ok.

So, he got all those meds. Some of them banned.

Was that the cause of his death?

He was having leg pains before he got those meds, so definitely something was not right with him.

Re: Adeleke Was Given Overdose Of Banned Injection – LAUTECH CMD by Drogo(m): 1:58pm On May 16, 2017
Did everybody read the part where the aide said the late politician wasn't treated by a doctor?
Doctor is not the name of anybody that gives injection.

Three things make one to take one health care for granted.

1.Time (as in no Time)
2.Money (as in No Money)
3.information (as in don't have knowledge of how to solve his health challenges)

He got the time and can take time off to treat himself. Not like us that Oga at the top might not allow us to take time off to take proper care of our health.

He got the money to foot his medical bill and also have his personal doctor. Do you know a typical Israeli always get second opinion on medical issues he/she is passing through.

Information I cannot vouch he has enough information about his health challenges and information about drugs that will be administered to him.
As I dey so I always ask which injection will be administer to me.

I am still wondering how one will just administer all those injection thru drip to one person.

It's not hearsay when a doctor obtains 'history' from a patient or his relatives. He did it in his professional capacity as a physician and he related same to the hearing. Not sure what your point is. Ofcourse whoever perpetrated the crime should be arrested but that is not the job of the physician.
"History" taken from patients relatives can't be used as a "testimony" (a valid account of what brewed) as the relatives were not with him even as at time of death (if he died in the wee hours of the morning, it's most likely the relatives would be asleep too till the alarm called). My point is whoever perpetuated this though already arrested, if guilty and a professional, he should be prosecuted and license withdrawn.
What baffles me is this, the family doesn't even know the profession of their caregiver (Negligence on their part). A Senator of the Federal republic allowing quack to administer drugs to him (that's not wisdom at all)

Hope this is not a conspiracy to implicate the doctor ! .nothing is impossible with Nigeria politicians ,the same doctor that has been treating the man for years suddenly didn't know what injection and amount to use ? Them never talk true!

The autopsy should have been conducted by a neutral body or institution. It's just a way to nail the innocent doctor.

That is just it. I believe the person is not a medical doctor. Haha!

You must be a doctor or a clinical personnel. However you ought to know the difference between CORONER inquest( like the one being conducted by the State goverment) and autopsy report.

nelszx:
My brother that's Nigeria for you, the autopsy report wasn't stated but conclusion has been made based on injection combinations and empty vials. That's even if there's any autopsy report in the first place cos if there is, the report doesn't need the presence of the CMD before the judge knows what's there.
What was contained in the autopsy result
Did he die of MI, enlarged organs as a result of the overdose or abuse of the drugs? or was it brain ischaemia?
The CMD sef, I thought the person was arrested they should ask the person what he is since he's neither a doctor nor a nurse so they can know how prosecution will be like

Nah I'm not a doctor but I fall in the other category (clinical / medical personnel). We learn everyday to be truthful, I know an autopsy report hehe but not a coroner inquest. Thanks for the enlightenment, everyday is a learning process

They didn't have to be with him when he died. History of a case takes place over time. It gives whoever is adjudicating the case a timeline. How would they know the patient was probably being treated by a quack if they did not obtain history of same from relatives?

Also, it looks to me that the testimony was admitted just fine by the hearing and I am sure they are more qualified on legal matters than you or me.
