IT IS NOT WHAT WE KNOW RATHER WHAT WE DO EVERY SECOND If you know these things, blessed are you if you practice them (John 13:17) It is not what we know that transforms us. It is what we do every day. Habits that lead to addiction is formed one day at a time. So do those ones that build in us a Christlike Character. What are you doing daily to make you more and more like Jesus? Spend time with the Father, speak to someone about the kingdom, show kindness to someone, read something that will nourish your mind and Spirit. Care for your body, (it's God's temple) through good food and exercise, seek reconciliation with people you have quarrelled with, examine your conscience before you go to sleep. etc. Remember the saying. "Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny." Teach us constancy Lord, make us docile to your will. Take our hearts for we cannot give it to you. Keep our hearts for we cannot keep it for you. Amen .......REVEREND MALACHY NKANEBE....... |
