Five months into Trump's presidency at all sorts of allegations and counter-allegations flying around, the real business of governance has taken the back seat because of Trump's ill-preparedness for the office of Presidency.

He has really made a big joke of his presidency, feel a bit of sympathy for his supporters at this stage.

There's a huge, massive difference between Trump's presidency and the previous administration (Obama), not that I particularly validate some of Obama'a policies, but at least the WH was a lot calmer with sense of direction.

More stories to come out in the next few days, the biggest mistake of Trump till date was when he fired Comey last week Tuesday. Top FBI officials are not very happy with Trump, because there's clear evidence of obstruction of investigation in the memo taken by Comey.

It will definetely take a while for Trump to name a new FBI Director with the allegation contained in the memo.

And what do you think does it take for him to unite the country after having divided it by hate speech? And even if he was able to do it, how do you restore trust after countless lies and unrealistic, unfulfilled and unfulfillable promises?

Semper Paratus, the Latin phrase on the parade standard of the U.S. Coast Guard, loosely translates as “always ready.” But just how prepared could this year’s graduates of the Coast Guard Academy have been for a commencement address from their commander-in-chief, President Donald Trump?

Actually, considering that he ended up giving yet another proto-campaign speech in which he bragged about his electoral triumph, I’d wager “very.” This is the same speech Trump always gives, whether he’s addressing the Coast Guard or ordering a Coke.

Nevertheless, there was one indelible moment in Trump’s remarks to America’s next generation of Coasties. It came during the traditional part of his oratory that we might as well start calling “The Airing of Grievances”:

Over the course of your life, you will find things are not always fair. You will find that things happen to you that you do not deserve and that are not always warranted. But you have to put your head down and fight, fight, fight. Never, ever, ever give up. Things will work out just fine. Look at the way I’ve been treated lately, especially by the media. No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse or more unfairly. You can’t let them get you down. You can’t let the critics and naysayers get in the way of your dreams. I guess that’s why I won.

Fairness is a pretty interesting topic of conversation to be raising in front of men and women who will one day be jumping into the damn ocean in the middle of hurricanes to rescue people, in the service of an organization whose unofficial motto is, “You have to go out, but you don’t have to come back.”

But let’s leave that aside for the moment and examine the contention that “No politician in history ... has been treated worse or more unfairly.” I’m no Doris Kearns Goodwin, but I feel ― with great surety! ― that this is not the case.

Let’s just think about other presidents. Off the top of my head, here are some people who were treated more unfairly than Donald Trump.

James Madison: On Aug. 12, 1814, British troops under the command of Maj. Gen. Robert Ross straight up set fire to the presidential mansion, which to my mind is just mad disrespectful. They literally burned down his house and he had no Mar-a-Lago to fall back on.

William Henry Harrison: Shortly after he was elected, he became ill with what is now presumed to be enteric fever. History records that “Harrison sought to rest in the White House, but could not find a quiet room because of the steady crowd of office seekers.” Fair? Surely not.

Abraham Lincoln: Did you know that half of the country seceded from the Union after Lincoln was elected? Well, they did! And Lincoln had to spend the bulk of his presidency fighting a civil war to “restore the Union.” For his trouble, he was assassinated during a performance of “Our American Cousin” by actor John Wilkes Booth. Now, throughout the country, neo-Nazis stage demonstrations to preserve statuary depicting the very secessionists who ruined Lincoln’s life. Maybe I’m being Pollyannaish, but that just feels a little below the belt to me.

James Garfield: Garfield was assassinated by Charles Guiteau, who was angry because he felt he was being treated shabbily when Garfield didn’t give him plum overseas appointments in Vienna or Paris. Guiteau didn’t even speak a foreign language! Come on, man! But after pestering Garfield’s administration about it, he finally decided that the president had to die. Being murdered by a guy who wrongly thought you were being unfair is double-plus unfair ― there’s just no getting around that.

William McKinley: McKinley was shot twice in the gut by anarchist Leon Czolgosz after greeting him in a receiving line at the Temple of Music in Buffalo, New York. In an act of tremendous magnanimity, the wounded McKinley instructed the mob who set upon Czolgosz to “go easy on him.” That’s probably why Czolgosz wasn’t immediately torn to pieces. You’d think that an act of mercy would be rewarded by a moral universe, wouldn’t you? Well, you’d be wrong: McKinley died of gangrene eight days later. Seems pretty cruel.

Franklin D. Roosevelt: Check it ― Roosevelt was basically trying to help dig America out of the crater of the Great Depression when Adolf Hitler decided to try to conquer Europe through war and mass genocide, and Hitler’s Japanese allies bombed Pearl Harbor. Umm … rude much?

John F. Kennedy: Kennedy wasn’t just assassinated; his death became enmeshed in a web of conspiracy theories that persists to this day. For a time, it was even deemed acceptable to request three shots of espresso by ordering a “JFK.” Wow, people, think about what you’re doing.

Gerald Ford: Had to follow the Nixon administration. My man just never had a chance.

Ronald Reagan: Reagan was nearly killed by an insane man who thought that murdering the president would impress actress Jodie Foster. And I’m sorry, no matter how many times I watch “Taxi Driver” or “The Silence of the Lambs” or “The Accused” ― which are all fine movies, I’m not disputing this ― this will never feel right to me. It’s a wholly unmerited thing to do to Reagan. Verdict: Not fair!

Barack Obama: People may not remember this, but President Obama was relentlessly accused of not having been born in the United States of America. In my humble opinion, this was pretty ungracious! And here’s an interesting historical detail: One of the ringleaders of the movement to unfairly discredit Obama’s American-ness was future President Trump.

As you can plainly see, Donald Trump, by virtue of not being shot in the abdomen or head, not having his mansion burned down, and not being accused of birth in a foreign country in order to question his legitimacy, is making out pretty good on the spectrum of “being treated fairly.”

One final thing to note about this matter is that President Trump’s budget originally called for a 14 percent cut to the U.S. Coast Guard. He’s since backed off that plan and has promised to maintain current budget levels. As Breaking Defense’s Sydney J. Freedberg Jr. reports, “The bad news is that ‘current funding levels’ are already too low.” But as Trump said, “You can’t let the critics and naysayers get in the way of your dreams.”

“Enjoy your life,” he concluded.

Breaking News: Former FBI Director Robert Meurer is now the Special Prosecutor in charge of Russiagate . Just appointed by the Deputy Attorney General.

WASHINGTON ― Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller to serve as special prosecutor overseeing the investigation into Russian influence in the 2016 presidential election.

In a statement, Rosenstein stressed that his decision “is not a finding that crimes have been committed or that any prosecution is warranted.” But he said he’d determined “based upon the unique circumstances, the public interest requires me to place this investigation under the authority of a person who exercises a degree of independence from the normal chain of command.”

In an order dated May 17, Rosenstein wrote Mueller, as special counsel, will conduct an investigation into “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump,” along with “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”

The White House reportedly found out about the appointment with less than an hour’s notice.

Under law, Mueller will have all the authority of a U.S. attorney to conduct his investigation. He will also be able to choose members of his team and request a budget from the Justice Department.

If he chooses, Mueller could keep the FBI agents currently working on the Russia investigation. It’s not clear where Mueller will be working from, but the Justice Department said Mueller would be stepping down from his job at the law firm WilmerHale.

Rosenstein said it was necessary to appoint Mueller so the American people will have “full confidence” in the outcome of the investigation.

“Our nation is grounded on the rule of law, and the public must be assured that the government officials administer the law fairly,” Rosenstein said. “Special Counsel Mueller will have all the appropriate resources to conduct a thorough and complete investigation, and I am confident that he will follow the facts, apply the law, and reach a just result.”

Democrats had pushed hard for a special counsel appointment after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey last week.

On Tuesday evening, a bombshell New York Times report said Trump had asked Comey, who had been leading the probe into Russia’s possible influence in the election, to end the FBI’s investigation of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. In February, Flynn was forced to resign from his post, after it was revealed he had discussed sanctions against Russia with the country’s ambassador to the U.S. prior to Trump’s inauguration.

The previous evening, The Washington Post published reports that Trump had disclosed “highly classified information” during a meeting with Russian officials, sparking swift criticism from both sides of the aisle.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself in March from Russia matters after he failed to disclose during his confirmation hearing he had met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

House majority leader to colleagues in 2016: ‘I think Putin pays’ Trump

KIEV, Ukraine — A month before Donald Trump clinched the Republican nomination, one of his closest allies in Congress — House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy — made a politically explosive assertion in a private conversation on Capitol Hill with his fellow GOP leaders: that Trump could be the beneficiary of payments from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy (R-Calif.) said, according to a recording of the June 15, 2016 exchange, which was listened to and verified by The Washington Post. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is a Californian Republican known in Congress as a fervent defender of Putin and Russia.

House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) immediately interjected, stopping the conversation from further exploring McCarthy’s assertion, and swore the Republicans present to secrecy.

Before the conversation, McCarthy and Ryan had emerged from separate talks at the U.S. Capitol with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, who had described a Kremlin tactic of financing populist politicians to undercut Eastern European democratic institutions.

News had just broken the day before in The Washington Post that Russian government hackers had penetrated the computer network of the Democratic National Committee, prompting McCarthy to shift the conversation from Russian meddling in Europe to events closer to home.

Some of the lawmakers laughed at McCarthy’s comment. Then McCarthy quickly added: “Swear to God.”

Ryan instructed his Republican lieutenants to keep the conversation private, saying: “No leaks...This is how we know we’re a real family here.”

The remarks remained secret for nearly a year.

The conversation provides a glimpse at the internal views of GOP leaders who now find themselves under mounting pressure over the conduct of President Trump. The exchange shows that the Republican leadership in the House privately discussed Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election and Trump’s relationship to Putin, but wanted to keep their concerns secret. It is difficult to tell from the recording the extent to which the remarks were meant to be taken literally.

The House leadership has so far stood by the White House as it has lurched from one crisis to another, much of the turmoil fueled by contacts between Trump or his associates with Russia.

House Republican leaders have so far resisted calls for the appointment of an independent commission or a special prosecutor to investigate Russian interference, though pressure has been mounting on them to do so after Trump’s firing of FBI director James B. Comey and the disclosure that the president shared intelligence with Russian diplomats.

Evan McMullin, who in his role as policy director to the House Republican Conference participated in the June 15 conversation, said: “It’s true that Majority Leader McCarthy said that he thought candidate Trump was on the Kremlin’s payroll. Speaker Ryan was concerned about that leaking.”

McMullin ran for president last year as an independent and has been a vocal critic of Trump.

When initially asked to comment on the exchange, Brendan Buck, a spokesman for Ryan, said: “That never happened,” and Matt Sparks, a spokesman for McCarthy, said: “The idea that McCarthy would assert this is absurd and false.”

After being told that The Post would cite a recording of the exchange, Buck, speaking for the GOP House leadership, said: “This entire year-old exchange was clearly an attempt at humor. No one believed the majority leader was seriously asserting that Donald Trump or any of our members were being paid by the Russians. What’s more, the speaker and leadership team have repeatedly spoken out against Russia’s interference in our election, and the House continues to investigate that activity.”

“This was a failed attempt at humor,” Sparks said.

Ken Grubbs, a spokesman for Rohrabacher, said the congressman has been a consistent advocate of “working closer with the Russians to combat radical Islamism. The congressman doesn’t need to be paid to come to such a necessary conclusion.”

When McCarthy voiced his assessment of whom Putin supports, suspicions were only beginning to swirl around Trump’s alleged Russia ties.

At the time, U.S. intelligence agencies knew that the Russians had hacked the DNC and other institutions, but Moscow had yet to start publicly releasing damaging emails through WikiLeaks to undermine Trump’s Democratic challenger, Hillary Clinton. An FBI counterintelligence investigation into Russian efforts to influence the presidential election would open the following month, in late July, Comey has said in testimony to Congress.

Trump has sought to play down contacts between his campaign and the Russians, dismissing as a “witch hunt” the FBI and congressional investigations into Russian efforts to aid Trump and any possible coordination between the Kremlin and his associates. Trump denies any coordination with Moscow took place.

Presidential candidate Trump’s embrace of Putin and calls for closer cooperation with Moscow put him at odds with the House Republican caucus, whose members have long advocated a harder line on Russia, with the exception of Rohrabacher and a few others.

Among GOP leaders in the House, McCarthy stood out as a Putin critic who in 2015 called for the imposition of “more severe” sanctions for its actions in eastern Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea.

In May 2016, McCarthy signed up to serve as a Trump delegate at the Republican National Convention, breaking ranks with Ryan who said he still wasn’t ready to endorse the candidate. McCarthy’s relationship with Trump became so close that the president would sometimes refer to him as “my Kevin.”

Trump was by then the lone Republican remaining in the contest for the nomination. Though Ryan continued to hold out, Trump picked up endorsements from the remaining GOP leaders in the House, including Rep. Steve Scalise, the Majority Whip from Louisiana, and Republican Conference Chairman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Wash.) — both of whom took part in the June 15 conversation.

Ryan announced on June 2 that he would vote for Trump to help “unite the party so we can win in the fall” but continued to clash with the candidate, including over Putin. While Trump sought to cast Putin as a better leader than then-President Obama, Ryan dubbed him an “aggressor” who didn’t share U.S. interests.

On the same day as Ryan’s endorsement, Clinton stepped up her attacks on Trump over his public statements praising Putin. “If Donald gets his way, they’ll be celebrating in the Kremlin,” she said.

Ukrainian officials were unnerved by Trump’s statements in support of Putin. Republicans, they had believed, were supposed to be tougher on Russia.

When Trump named Paul Manafort as his campaign manager in April 2016, alarm bells in Kiev started ringing even louder. Manafort was already well known in Ukraine because of his influential role as a political consultant to Viktor Yanukovych, the country’s former Kremlin-friendly ruler until a popular uprising forced him to flee to Russia. Manafort had also consulted for a powerful Russian businessman with close ties to the Kremlin.

“Ukraine was, in a sense, a testing ground for Manafort,” said Ukrainian political scientist Taras Berezovets, who became a grudging admirer of Manafort’s skills in the so-called “dark arts” of political stagecraft while Berezovets was working for one of Yanukovych’s political rivals.

At the urging of Manafort, Yanukovych campaigned with populist slogans labeling NATO a “menace” and casting “elites” in the Ukrainian capital as out of touch, Berezovets said. Trump struck similar themes during the 2016 campaign.

The FBI is now investigating whether Manafort, who stepped down as Trump’s campaign manager in August, received off-the-books payments from Yanukovych’s party, U.S. officials said. As part of that investigation, FBI agents recently took possession of a newly-discovered document which allegedly details payments totaling $750,000. Ukrainian lawmaker Sergii Leshchenko, who first disclosed the new document, declined to comment on his contacts with the FBI.

A spokesperson for Manafort has said that Trump’s former campaign manager has not been contacted by the FBI. Manafort has also disputed the authenticity of the newly-discovered document.

Groysman, on an official visit to Washington, met separately with Ryan and McCarthy on June 15 at the Capitol.

He told them how the Russians meddled in European politics and called for “unity” in addressing the threat, according to U.S. and Ukrainian officials. Ryan issued a statement after the meeting saying, “the United States stands with Ukraine as it works to rebuild its economy and confront Russian aggression.”

Later, Ryan spoke privately with McCarthy, Rodgers, Scalise and Rep. Patrick McHenry, the deputy whip, among others.

Ryan mentioned his meeting with Groysman, prompting Rodgers to ask: “How are things going in Ukraine?” according to the recording.

The situation was difficult, Ryan said. Groysman, he said, had told him that Russian-backed forces were firing 30-40 shells into Ukrainian territory every day. And the prime minister described Russian tactics that include “financing our populists, financing people in our governments to undo our governments.”

Ryan said Russia’s goal was to “turn Ukraine against itself.” Groysman underlined Russia’s intentions, saying “They’re just going to roll right through us and go to the Baltics and everyone else,” according to Ryan’s summary of the prime minister’s remarks in the recording.

“Yes,” Rodgers said in agreement, noting that the Russians were funding non-government organizations across Europe as part of a wider “propaganda war.”

“Maniacal,” Ryan said. “And guess, guess who’s the only one taking a strong stand up against it? We are.”

Rodgers disagreed. “We’re not…we’re not…but, we’re not,” she said.

That’s when McCarthy brought the conversation about Russian meddling around to the DNC hack, Trump and Rohrabacher.

“I’ll guarantee you that’s what it is...The Russians hacked the DNC and got the opp [opposition] research that they had on Trump,” McCarthy said with a laugh.

Ryan asked who the Russians “delivered” the opposition research to.

“There’s... there’s two people, I think, Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy said, drawing some laughter. “Swear to God,” McCarthy added.

“This is an off the record,” Ryan said.

Some lawmakers laughed at that.

“No leaks, alright?,” Ryan said, adding: “This is how we know we’re a real family here.”

“That’s how you know that we’re tight,” Scalise said.

“What’s said in the family stays in the family,” Ryan added.

During the last eight years, the far left and their cohorts in the Democratic Party were successfully on their way to transforming our Constitutional Republic from a country of laws into a country of men. They arrogantly believed the last election was theirs to be had with Hillary Clinton at the helm to continue Obama's legacy of "leading from behind." Their mission is the "transformation of our free market, our sovereignty, and our culture to a Socialist/Communist New World Order. They didn't count on billionaire Donald Trump, who had never before held office, to throw a wrench into their radical agenda by injecting himself into our body politic, and in return they are waging a relentless coup to have him removed from office.

They have termed this coup "The Resistance" and with the aid of our activist judicial system, educational institutions, Hollywood, the press, and social media; they are leading a full blown war against President Trump on various fronts. With the aid of the propaganda media establishment, akin to the old Soviet Union's Pravda, they proudly obstruct President Trump's every move. Their aim is impeachment, but to impeach they need to have grounds; thus, they have concocted a conspiracy theory of Russian collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians without a shred of evidence to support that theory.

Not a day goes by without an accusation by Democrats in search of a crime. When President Trump used an Executive Order to initiate his travel ban from countries known to be hotbeds of Islamic terrorism, the Left used the courts to stop his ban from taking effect. Although President Trump had the statutory authority to execute the ban pursuant to section 1182(f) and 1185 (a) of Title 8, they succeeded in halting the ban by filing their lawsuits in Federal District Court within the far left 9th Circuit (the most overturned court in the country), dominated by Clinton and Obama appointed judges, well known for its judicial activism and disregard of Constitutional principles. Consequently, Muslim refugees who cannot be vetted for lack of documentation continue to stream onto our shores and increase the risk of terror attacks on the mainland.

Currently the left is up in arms over the firing of former FBI Director, James Comey. The ACLU recently announced they will lead an investigation into the firing; yet not a word was heard from the ACLU when Bill Clinton fired FBI Director, William Sessions in 1993. It was only a few months ago when the likes of Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid called for Comey's resignation. Socialist Maxine Waters from the left leaning state of California stated just a few days ago " I don't support Trump firing Comey, I would support Hillary Clinton firing Comey." What we are witnessing is a schizophrenic narrative and a Democratic Party meltdown.

And if that isn't enough, our college campuses are actively silencing those who support President Trump with physical assaults, threats, and intimidation. Institutions of learning should provide an environment for the free exchange of ideas, but instead, young Conservatives are threatened with poor grades should they express support for President Trump and his conservative agenda. There is no diversity of thought on today's college campuses. It is fascism and group think that has taken root and those who differ are singled out as outcasts to be ridiculed and shunned at best or physically and verbally assaulted at worst.

President Trump is routinely mocked, insulted, and ridiculed on mainstream television by those who have made a career of bashing conservatives. His wife, Melania, his young son, and his daughter Ivanka have all been targets of insults, innuendos, and slander. Ivanka, a beautiful role model as a young wife, mother, and entrepreneur, faces a boycott of her product line being led by Shannon Coulter, a technology and media specialist based in San Francisco. As the daughter of President Trump, she is considered fair game by the haters. Consequently, a number of stores no longer carry her merchandise. What has become clear is that anyone related to President Trump or anyone who supports him publicly is at risk of being ostracized or targeted for their support of him.

Bill O'Reilly's termination looks like a hit job by the far left for his support of President Trump. Yes, there were allegations of sexual impropriety, but they were allegations that took place years ago. He had the number one cable news show on Fox. There was no trial or facts presented; yet, it didn't stop Fox from terminating him. O'Reilly may be guilty, but the timing is specious. His termination was a victory celebrated by the Left. Does every Conservative commentator on national television now have a target on his or her back? Can freedom of expression survive in a climate of fear? In the future, who will be willing to risk their livelihoods and careers if fear is the methodology used to control the public sphere?

This coup didn't happen in a vacuum. It is a field operation led by Barack Hussein Obama from his home in Washington, D.C. while financed by Globalist billionaire George Soros. Leading this coup with Obama is his closest adviser, Valerie Jarrett, who has moved into the Obama household. They, along with their many leftist compadres still entrenched in the hierarchy of the beltway, are at the forefront of this coup. Through leaks, false narratives, lies, and misinformation they are plotting President's Trump's demise. It is a coup against President Trump and against all of us who voted for him. Americans have a decision to make. Will we succumb or will we fight back?

Well, shit. We (patriotic Americans) know that we could easily squash a lefty uprising, but of course we would prefer not to. However, at some point we may have no choice but to use the last resort option.

Think about it this way: let's say you're carrying a concealed weapon for personal safety, and someone gets up in your face and starts yelling at you. You know you could solve the problem by shooting them, but that would be a major overreaction, not go well legally, and be immoral as it violates the NAP by suddenly amplifying the use of force. Well, that's the situation we've been in with the left for a long time now.

They have been screaming in our faces for years, getting louder and louder. And worse, a crowd has formed, picking our pockets and insulting us while we take this abuse. Yet, we still do not shoot. We still hope and pray that the situation can be solved peacefully. We hope that reason and civility will win out, and that by remembering our morals and standards we can weather the storm by maintaining our integrity.

At this point it appears that the left is attempting to totally undermine our system, and by extension, our way of life, and our kids' future. They are actively attempting to impose upon us an existential threat to our nation. This is equivalent, perhaps, to the person going from screaming at you to pulling out a knife.

For the love of God, I hope the left realizes that we are armed. They still have time to turn back. All they need to do is stop actively attempting to take over our country.
