Though it's quite rife in Africa, you find issues of domestic violence everywhere in the world. However the issue lies at the casualness of which it's regarded. Women hear that if he hits you, it means he loves you. I don't stand for those lies.

This matter got to be addressed. South Africa in recent months has seen this matter come to the forefront of the media with recent Cases of women dying at the hand of their partners. I disagree that the problem lies with women but with men.

They are both mad, but yes, women should take a big part of the blame when they gladly stay with an abusive man (thinking he will change) AND/OR accept the beating as they want to keep the "happily married" charade and remain being called Mrs, at all costs.

I think this is something that should be denounced by men.In most African nations, men are the legislation. True a great deal do not condone women abuse, however many do not do anything to fight against this epidemic. Women are trafficked daily, killed, abused and raped. Make an effort to understand why people behave the way they do is all I am saying and we should not be blinded by materialism.

Our generation is quitting marraige too easily because we rush in just as fast just because wife one endured beating does not mean wife two will if she truly has a heart after God.
