Youths of APC extraction in Gboko town staged a protest over the visit of Dr. Gabriel Torwua Suswam, former governor of Benue state to Gboko, the traditional headquarters of Tiv nation.

Dr. Suswam who recently regained freedom after many months of incarceration by DSS was in Gboko to pay homage to the Tor Tiv, HRM Prof James Ortese Ornguga Ayatse after which he addressed his party supporters at Amaco Hotel, Gboko.

The protesting youths were sighted at a major road linking Bristow roundabout to Central police station with banners and placards with different inscriptions against Suswam.

A good portion of wheelbarrow pushers added colour to the protest just as Okada people joined the protest.

You see Benue youths are already very familiar with use of wheel Barrow and even make use of it as a vehicle for change and protest ...You see that Governor knew what he was doing when he bought them their equipment of choice which they can use to farm, Bury their loved ones murdered by Fulani , to protest against PDP and overall even use it to carry their numerous problem and even carry their eight months salary Governor Ortom is owing them when he finally pays

Lol!!!! They have shared the wheelbarrows for night! They wanted to use fanfare and call it dividends of democracy, a whistle-blower alerted us, the governor disassociated himself and shared the wheelbarrows without the anticipated fanfare
