This is indeed a time that our leaders need to take their time to ensure that we are not plunged into the dungeon politically, the coup being rumoured should be made to remain a mere figment of some people's imaginations. We may not survive such political crisis considering the volatile, frail nerves of the people occasioned by harsh effect of economic recession. God bless Nigeria. |

Abeg which stupid useless Coup in Nigeria. We have not yet recovered from the one Abacha, Babaginda, obasanjo Danjuma and Gowon put us through. When they do Coup is it not to enrich their generation and their children. Make all these soldiers stay for their barracks Abeg. Defeat boko harm dem no go defeat. Okay bring back our girls from the hands of terrorists and invaders they cannot do. It is how to do coup and steal resources they will be thinking about. I wanted to join Nigerian military as a tech specialist before ni. Why will I join these bunch of losers? You will never hear of U. S MILITARY planning coup. Only in Nigeria. |

@Ironi better believe it man. Nigeria spent roughly $12 billion dollars in the period between 1990 and 2003 trying to end the wars in Liberia and Sierra Leone. That was possible because we had so much oil money coming in at that point in time. At a point our peacekeeping mission in S/Leone was gulping over $1million daily. We shouldered over 80% of the ECOMOG/ECOMIL missions simply because we had spineless and useless countries in west Africa and we wanted to play 'big brother' Today, other countries that did not sow there are benefiting. Feel my pain man? |
