mbaboy:You have a point, I mean if Osinbajo can sign three executive orders then why can't he sign the budget? No be same signature and he's the acting-president, right? https://www.naij.com/1105519-updated-12-days-buhari-left-uk-osinbajo-signs-3-executive-orders.html |

When I first talk am here, some dimwits (Ndiofe) were doubting me. People who were too dumb to decode the hidden message in Buhari's letter. This is just the beginning. All important documents will be flown to London for Buhari to sign. Ita Enang is only acting on the order of the cabal. If PMB is physically unable to sign, a well paid signature forger is on standby to append the signature. There's no way we can confirm who actually signed it. However, Budget signing are usually video taped. I am eager to see how Abba Kyari and co will sort that out. Osinbajo is a lame duck VP. |

seunmsg:Let me remind you of this quote... seunmsg:Lai Mohammed is a lawyer, so he is not ignorant of that constitution you guys were quoting up and down. The real deal is that right now, there is an uncertainty surrounding the presidency and people are indirectly pledging their allegiance in case the worst happens. If I was Osinbajo, I would send a strong message by relieving some people of their duties; starting with that Enang fool that was bold enough to make such callous statement on TV. This thing you called a 'non-issue' is gradually becoming an issue. |

You are moaning here while the eprson who is being undermined is silent on the issue. What can you do when the stu.pid lapdog yoruba man is bending backward to mallams? Yoruba people are easily one of the strongest groups in Nigeria yet time and time again they let dumb mallams walk all over them! why? The Youruba man who paid for the presidency for mallams using Yoruba-Lagos state money, where is he ![]() |

Similar incident happened when a supplementary budget was taken to Saudi Arabia for Yar Adua to "sign". However in that case, the man didn't hand over. Since Buhari communicated to the NA. Then the acting prez can sign. |

Who is the stupid and dumb messenger, insultin the v.p with eye service to be in good bks of pmb. ACTING PRESIDENT WILL SIGN THE BUDGET SIMPLE AND SHORT BASED ON THE SUBSISTING DOCUMENTED ORDER FROM PMB TO SENATE THAT OSINBAJO NOW ACTS . THIS IS WHY I DISTASTE NGR POLITICIANS because THEY ONLY HIJACK SITUATIONS LIKE TO PLAY MISCHIEF. REMEMBER, PROF IS A MAN OF HIGHEST ECHELON OF LAW BOTH HOME AND ABROAD,HIS A WISE MAN WHO KNOWS HOW TO APPLY WISDOM. |

White007:I understand that there is a kind of politics going on within the Presidency corridor but with this report, lets do a little analysis: one, definition of assent: noun 1. the expression of approval or agreement. "a loud murmur of assent" verb 1. express approval or agreement. "the Prime Minister assented to the change" synonyms: agree to, accept, approve, consent to, acquiesce in, concur in, accede to, give one's blessing to, bless, give one's seal/stamp of approval to, rubber-stamp, say yes to; I did not see anywhere assent is descibed as SIGNING A DOCUMENT here. And assent can be used in different contexts varying from a nod, giving in, consent and even stamp (literally) but not sign. The big question (which does not even prompt a threat as far as am concerned) now is who is to sign the budget? It wont happen just like you mentioned, that Buhari will carry our budget to London and SIGN (regardless of love, respect and quick recovery I have for him, i mention it again, it wont HAPPEN!) the budget, from london, no, it wont happen. two, in fairness to the two major spokespersons here, they were diplomatic probably because of the pressure surrounding the Presidenct's vis a vis the letter transmitted by Buhari to N A and the recent statement by the Nothern Elders: Check and contrast these two statements: 1. Spokesman to the Acting President, Mr. Laolu Akande in a tweet late last night said “Just so we are clear: when the time comes, everything is set and he is satisfied, Ag. President Yemi Osinbajo will assent to the 2017 budget.” 2. “The President will assent to the budget, the acting President is in office and when the budget is transmitted, it will go through the processes and all those other questions will answer itself.” try to relate the two statements, you will find out that they are only being careful but you know our media will always blow news (they created the topic to be attractive) to prove points. Anyway, we are watching! |

With due respect to you, it's probably possible that you are not even born when I finished secondary school. It may be possible also that the education I have in respect of all area of Law either constitutional, criminal, Tort, trust, etc that you don't have it. That is just by the way. Osibanjo is not the president of Nigeria. He cannot use the seal of the president and even if he does he must use the word "acting". The substantive president can still do his lawful duty while on leave if he is in a right frame of mind. The interpretations of the letter written to National assembly does not remove Buhari as the president because he is on leave. Why would Buhari be honoured with the presidential guard anytime he arrives the country. Why don't they say he is still on leave and wait until be writes to National Assembly before he will be accorded with the presidential honours. Buhari has the right and power to sign the budget if he chooses to and that is in line with the constitution. If the cabals sign the budget by forgery then such signature is not worthless but if Buhari in his right frame of mind signs it, then so be it. k9ine: |
| Re: Buhari’ll Sign 2017 Budget, Osinbajo’ll Take It From There – Ita Enang by linuxuser(m): 12:35pm On May 19, 2017 |
Osibanjo himself knows that he is NOT the president and there are limits to what he can and must do in exercising his duty as the acting president. Nobody voted for Osibanjo but rather people voted for illiterate Buhari and he remains the president until his tenure expires, impeached or dies. All these noises about Osibanjo can do this or can that is nothing more than an empty noise. So you people think if a dispute goes to court, you think the court will rule against Buhari? Think well. The court will have to bear in mind things including setting a precedent amongst other things. Lightening: |

TGM2015:I Dont think you understand what you have written and frankly speaking I Dont either. What exactly s the current political situation you are referring to? Which interpretation of the constitution are you also referring to? Is it the one that is supposedly to have given osinbajo full presidential powers in the absense of the incapacitated buhari. Why will a party take anyone to court if osinbajo signs the budget as acting president? It is absolutely nonsense to suggest that it is in the best interest of the country for buhari to sign the budget even in the state that he is also considering he has not written a letter to the house that he is resuming work. That is more reason for the govt to be taken to court. So if osinbajo signing the budget is the right thing what is the proactive measure that needs to be avoided? |
