I disagree. The CBN recently injected $450 million into our FOREX market, in another bid to shore up the Naira. Similarly, the dollar has lost value this week worldwide.

Hence the Naira is gaining value against the dollar but losing value or remaining firm against the euro and British pounds sterling.

To be clear, I am neither for nor against the Buhari administration. I know this simply from following trends in the strength of the Naira and worldwide crude oil prices.

The only reasonable explanation I have for this is about investors confidence. I do not think investors ( foreign and local ) have confident in President Buhari anymore, hence the fall of dollar against naira anytime he travels.

This occurrence was actually the opposite at first. During the first three month of Buhari administration there was high investors confidence hence the favourable increase in NSE.

The body language and economic policy of President Buhari has really change the outlook on how investors view the economy

They never had confidence in him. He does not have functioning economic or fiscal policy.

He does not have a working educational policy or social policy.

The people who backed him are enemies of progress and enemies of Nigeria.

Don't let us be fooled. The reason is nothing but a propaganda. It is a force to get us to believe in Prof Osinbajo as the next heir to the demonic, defiled, and filthy seat of power in FCT. With due respect to the perfect gentleman.

Buhari has been practically out of his duty for a while even while in Nigeria. This is a smart move by all our smart but unwise politicians and we should beware because they are only taking us for a ride.

Until the mantle eventually falls in the hands of Osinbajo (since that's what all this drama is all about), rating him will only be fooling ourselves.

Does the so called investors inject their money in the economy when Buhari is out and withdraw it immediately when he's in? Personally, I don't see this as the case. An economists in the house can expatiate more on the effect of such money supply on the economy.
