PinocchioDMZ:secondary market rates are not doing badly then. Some rates quoted here are better than this maybe except for 364days , 18.7% is the highest I have heard so far |

Partnerbiz:that's a spot on write-up. Money is like a vehicle that needs to keep moving, to me money should not remain idle, it ought to always be working out. Although that's not to say you don't need savings, because savings come in handy in times of emergency. In general tho, money deserves to always be on the move aka changing hands |

Has anyone been debited in the last auction especially from Stanbic bank? Also, does it take till following week b4 stanbic credit customers accts. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by OakPearl(m): 12:14am On May 20, 2017 |
kwallet:Yes, I was debited by Stanbic IBTC on Friday. They debit you from your principal, leaving your upfront interest behind in your account. This means there will be no need of crediting you again. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by silvoice(m): 8:37am On May 20, 2017 |
kwallet:ok thanks, that means it will be terminated within 24 hours. I hope the fees will not be much, cos I want to terminate 182 and go for 364 days |

Good Morning guys Please help, am confused here. I feel I was cheated. I went to GTB and requested to invest 200k in TB for 91 days and I was debited 193,318. Please at what rate was the transaction? Thanks |

I dont think you were cheated. The rate used in your case is 13.5% for 91 days. PhilJames: |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Partnerbiz(m): 11:50am On May 21, 2017 |
asbanko:Which bank was that? |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by PhilJames: 12:14pm On May 21, 2017 |
MrTour:But other banks are offering 18% and above. 13.5% is disheartening |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Winneygirl(f): 12:32pm On May 21, 2017 |
PhilJames:The 18% you're seeing everywhere is not for 91days. At primary market, you can get 18+% for 364 days. Secondary market is dependent on what is available, but you won't get 18% for 91days. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Cation(m): 12:35pm On May 21, 2017 |
PhilJames:That is 13.364 |
