chuksdavid28:How people reason ![]() I'm sorry to burst your bubbles.. No Course is Useless and you'll only get to understand what I've said when you stop perceiving Education as just for employment but for conscientization. Education gets you exposed to things whether you accept it or not. And Education takes places in its different form, we are mostly familiar with the formal Education school system and as such don't know that we are still undergoing Education in its other form like the informal and the non-formal. Try to read more bout the benefits of Education, I think it will help you Sir |

Mrlouis:You are not wrong...and she is not wrong to think she has a chance as well. One thing I have learnt in my short existence is that Life is not black or white. Reality is multi-faceted and Ts whatever you make of it. Education is more about the skills you have learnt, and she can decide to make whatever she want from those skills - even from other fields. You shouldn't forget Jonathan was a zoology lecturer before becoming the president of Nigeria. For all intent and purposes, who's to say she can't start a practice of her own and offer a world class educational service; and she seem to be very driven. No offence bro, I just believe if she is good at what she does...she will do well for herself, family and the society: than having a feeling of despair that she hasnt studied engineering or law. |

Chizzyjoyce:Nice write up,pretty! I am a graduate of this glorious department, unimaid. Of a truth, didn't choose the course but the course chose me. It was in year two I started developing interest and showing burning passion for it. I also faced the same challenges when I was in school; teased by friends, mocked by other students during GST Lectures, even some lecturers from other departments, especially d department where we took our electives, teased n mocked us. Same was told by my fellow corpers who studied same course at different schools. Adult education has been misconceptualized by Nigerians; some see it as evening class for adult learners others see it as education for never-do-well. But adult education goes far beyond that. Moreover, adult education is not only d field of study dat is being looked down upon. Education courses are being looked down upon in Nigeria. Little do Gvernment know dat adult education is of great importance in dis country, more especially in the Northern part of dis country: they really need this genre of education there cos of high preValence of illiteracy and poverty. Lemme stop at dis point. Wish to knw you. |

I'm very happy because of where I am today. I've really been exposed to certain contemporary things that my normal self wouldn't have known. I'm more edified to be were I am today All glory to God for this. |
