*Qingdao Trans-Oceanic Bridge 2.8 trillion naira for a 40km+ bridge in china with steel plant and world class engineers availabe
As for lagos 4mb at N844 billion i wouldnt be too quick to call the goverment corrupt l.

Isn't it likely though that state governments are announcing major projects that they know will never see the light of the day? This is the oldest trick in the book and PDP governors are as guilty of it as APC governors.

Kudos to the visionary step of Ambode. I was wondering what could be delaying the construction of the project but their reason is justifiable but they shouldn't have waited up to a year before they terminate the project from the concessionaire

GEJ was going to construct 2nd Niger bridge of less that 2km at over 100b naira and we didn't see bigots like you crying foul. it's a 36 km bridge coming at a cost of 23b per km. olodo

It is safe to say many Nairalanders are more emotional than rational, proudly showing off ignorance and even insisting they are right, maybe some of you do not know the scope of work to be done and how much the almost a trillion naira is in dollars r even pounds, also considering most of the building materials would be sourced from abroad, the expats won't touch your naira and all the logistics involved....surely, a project like this would be cheaper in more developed countries but for ours...it's just gonna be higher.


Sometimes i feel when i'm on nairaland, i am in the midst of kindergarten kids, what a far cry from what nairalanf was in the late 2000's..
