Please for those of u dt have disposed the placenta culd u explain the best way or process to go abt it.

Awww i feel so loved right now. i have been feeling bad all these while that nobody remembered me. i lost the pregnancy sometimes in March. It was the worst thing to ever happen to me. it was 25weeks old. i went for ultrasound that day and no heartbeat was found. it was as if i should die. Thank God im gradually getting over it and i pray i get pregnant soon to join this lovely community again. June moms safe delivery IJN I miss y'all. All other moms safe delivery too No loss for u IJN. i pray i join u y'all soon.

pls don't leave it in the hospital. Take to some where safe and bury it.

Curvilicious , you can go through mama zay-nie's list of captains names. Pick a few, go through their posts and see their roll calls/updates/check-ups on team members. In a nutshell, a captain leads and motivates her members (those who have same month EDD).
Also, she/he together with her teamies shake up the thread making it lively with games, gist, fun and general conversation in the months leading up to their month and during their delivery month. (I remember Enkaydew-drop ...team June last year...she was new and a ftm but her fun was unforgettable. Also, see iyomomore-loaded /Tiwatopebam 's latest roll-call just to check up on their teamies).

Then lastly, you update as your teamies drop their babies, do final roll call when una month end and officially hand over to the next month's captain.

placenta is to be buried soon after delivery or else it will be smelling.

Dear ladies in the house. Good morning. I have been following you silently but today I have to speak out because I have an emergency.

I have had 2 miscarriages in first trimester and one living child who is 4 years old.

The last miscarriage was in November last yea. I started having sever back pain and spotting from the day I missed my period till 12 weeks. The scan kept showing that the baby was 1week behind. The baby finally stopped growing at 8.5weeks. I don't know if there was ever a heartbeat because the sonographer in the hospital was always saying there was a heartbeat. It was only when I went to an external Ultrasound that they told me The baby was already dead and not growing.

I am 7 weeks and 4days pregnant today. I also started having back pains from the day I missed my period. I saw some smelly brown clots on at 5weeks 1 day. I was put on cyclogest. The pain went and came back again at 6 weeks. Gestone was added and the doctor said he suspects an infection and gave me antibiotics. I also had a culture that same but when the result came out, there was no bacteria infection only yeast. The pain stopped when I toook gestone and antiobiotics and came back at 7weeks with red bleeding.

I am back to the hospital and I am on admission. I feel the doctors are not doing a good job. One doctor came and and put me on glucose and saline drip 1 litter. My temperature went from 36.7 c to 34.88 c. I started complaining and they said it's nothing. When the drip finished they wanted to add more Glucose drip, I asked them to please do me a casting blood sugar and they found out my sugar level was now 205mg/dl. The nurse was still trying to force me to take the glucose drip. I refused and called for the doctor. That was when the now gave me on saline. The sugar then came down to 70 after 3 hours. 1 hour later it went up to 90 again. Mind you I have not eaten anything.

So my sugar has been going up without any food.

The pain in my back is getting worse. They were giving me painkillers before but I stopped because I I found out that it's an opiod.

Pls can someone recommend a good doctor in Lagos that can handle high risk pregnancy. I have pcos

Good Tidings Surulere, ask for Dr Akilo. He handles this wella. Though expensive.

Lol, forget about it. It may go after first trim, or it may stay the whole 40 weeks. You need to be careful what you use especially in your 1st trim

Aww thanks ó madam.. We lost the pregnancy at 6 months due to incompetent cervix, dw went to do scan at another place when I wasn't around.. So the yeye doctor only checked the baby and didn't check the cervix.. Dw Is óne workaholic person, she can't stay for just 1hr without doing something, and only bed rest could have prevent the incident, it was a terrible thing, but thank God all the same..and we have learnt I really lesson.. We are now at another 9 week now.. Porting to EDD December.. Pray for us..

lol. yes o I have .In my place of work, it's 16weeks, a month bfr and 12weeks after.if I don't start and wait till I deliver, amma forfeit the month bfr. plus it's 2weeks plus or minus.so I started yesterday at 37weeks. pays me more like that lol

Lucky you, and very thoughtful of them at your work place.
1 month pre delivery and 3 months post delivery.

Please let her start antenatal early. If she truly has an incompetent cervix bed rest won't do anything. She needs to have a cerclage put in between 12 and 14 weeks. I lost two pregnancies at 27 and 25 weeks to incompetent cervix .

The nurse handed it to me after delivery and I was like 'eww go and throw it away'. She said that's not how it's done and when my hubby came around she handed it to him instead and that one collected it so responsibly that I was even feeling ashamed of myself for earlier asking her to throw it away. The placenta crossed my mind few days after delivery and I asked hubby what he did with it, just for the dude to say he dumped it in the trash can in front of our gate

Curvilicious , you can go through mama zay-nie's list of captains names. Pick a few, go through their posts and see their roll calls/updates/check-ups on team members. In a nutshell, a captain leads and motivates her members (those who have same month EDD).
Also, she/he together with her teamies shake up the thread making it lively with games, gist, fun and general conversation in the months leading up to their month and during their delivery month. (I remember Enkaydew-drop ...team June last year...she was new and a ftm but her fun was unforgettable. Also, see iyomomore-loaded /Tiwatopebam 's latest roll-call just to check up on their teamies).

Then lastly, you update as your teamies drop their babies, do final roll call when una month end and officially hand over to the next month's captain.
