Well maybe you are right, At least, it does not smell, rather, it gives great aromas, especially when you add locus beans. But let talk reality, how can human being will be eating a smelly food, and not not that it has spoil. Even after eating, you watch your hand with soap, it will still smell, that according to what they told me about it. How, I don't understand, nyama. Why does the akpu smells self? no offense. Mind you, That green soup is not produced with broom, it is prepared using broom to stir it. It is a leave. So try and know the difference between produce and prepare.

Nothing to deny here, not everything someone know how to eat. My mum loves gbegiri and ewedu plus amala. I do eat amala, but with okro and vegetable or egunsi. any other soup aside those 3, I don't eat. if you like, put all the meat and fish of this world, I won't taste it cos I don't eat it but my ppl do eat it. Even the pot you use in cooking gbegiri, don't use it to cook for me unless I didn't know. But don't digress, you have not given me answer on why your(Igbo) akpu gives irritating smell?.
