"Introspection is probably what separates us from
beasts. That ability to learn from history is perhaps
the greatest defense from the avoidable pain of
learning from experience, when history is a much
gentler and kinder teacher. Indeed, the saying
experience is the best teacher, is incomplete, the full
statement of that Welsh adage is that experience is
the best teacher for a fool. History is a kinder and
gentler teacher."

the history i see is that of killings, rapine, genocide, unfinished extermination of igbos!

The campaign is often bitter and vitriolic, and has sometimes degenerated to fatal violence.

That's the summary of all that long speech. That's my position ever since. Does a slave or servant gets freedom from his master by slapping and slandering him? He cannot achieve anything by calling his master monkey, zoo etc. That's a bad strategy.

If not that Kanu was incarcerated, it would have so much degenerated. The educated Igbos should take the lead, because the ones i see everywhere including nairaland use provocative approach, which instead of endearing others to their cause, make their goals difficult.
though i love your honesty about us being slaves, i take an exception to the denigration given to kanu, the most powerful igbo man today

How I wish Buhari has been talking like this, we probably would have had less discordant tones of people seeking to cede away from Nigeria.

Biafra is a non issue !
Mere distraction when ibo's were planing thier evil agenda before the 2015 elections they forgot thier total population is less than 5% of the total population of Nigeria .
I actually attended the night meetings in Niger; Kwara missing the Kogi meeting by less than 30 minutes behind schedule so let them WAIL on .
The customs and other security agents should maintain 24 hour solid monitoring of those miscreants as one way or the other all thier plans are failing and will continue to fail . At whatever price biafra is unacceptable .
deep within you, you know the zoo's division is but inevitable. all this osibanjo and george soros funded osf lectures is all an act of desperation. the zoo has fallen!

Yesterday people were shouting change! Change!! Change!!! No one or very few thought about the ramifications of the word. The mass mind, unreasoning and unreasonable was at work.
Today the word is divide! divide!! divide!!!. Along which lines? Cultural? Linguistic? How does Ijaws, Itshekiris, Urhobos, Anang, Efik, Ogoja, Isoko, Ekwerre feature in all this?
Revolutionary movements are the outcomes of well thought out processes not mass hysteria.
referendum will determine everything

Informed people know that the only why Nigeria still remains one country is simply because the Crude Oil is not in North. If the opposite were the case, both the East and West would have been thrown out by the North with the help of their foreign supporters

Gbam.

And is very easy.

Withdraw their reps at different levels of govt, stop receiving fed allocation and confine their movement to those 5 states (Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo).
we will leave. but the question is, if we start leaving will you be happy or will you be sad like osibanjo was when his best friend emeka left him?

It's the weak among you who are spreading this pernicious virus. They are the wreckers of your dream. Today it seems they are fighting for Biafra, fronting as wanna-be revolutionaries. But I can see through them. Assuming Biafra succeeds they are still the ones who will start crying Abafra, Nsukkafra, Nnewifra, Afikpofra and as many fras as their tribalistic minds can can conjur like a wicked magician and then the young Republic will be riddled with a rash of fras like leprosy on the body of an outcast.

Copied!!!
