The present Nigerian govt seems to be enjoying the marginalization of the South east zone of the country. Not done with giving the zone less than 5% of all appointments at the federal level of govt, it has also excluded the South east pupils from benefiting from the current free meals for pupils in primary schools.

One wonders why a govt should engage in such discriminatory practice. It is also on record that the South east was also excluded from benefiting from the 5,000 naira been paid to the poorest nigerians, are they trying to tell us that there are no poor people in the south east. What is really happening?

I think they have been reading on Nairaland that everybody in the SE is a millionaire. Who needs free meals when you can afford a gourmet chef.
