Afar People They are a Cushite ppl who primarily live in the Afar region of Ethiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea. They are predominantly Muslim. They are traditionally pastoralists (raising goats, sheep and cattle in the desert). They are reputed for their martial prowess. Men traditionally sport the jile, a famous curved knife. They also have an extensive repertoire of battle songs. They live in one of the hottest place on Earth and are considered by many as the toughest people on Earth. Because of the hotness, many use butter on their hair to prevent the it from drying. A depression called Danakil is found in the Afar region of Ethiopia and it's the hottest place on Earth. 2 Likes

fanficgirl:You will reach your goal sis. My mother hair is very long and beautiful. My hair together with my brother is also beautiful because of my mother. My sister hair is also beautiful, but it isn't very long like my mother. 1 Like |

Hati13:Thankyou, ill try not to give up. Of course hers and your family hair is beautiful.Ethiopians always have beautiful hair, you guys actually know how to take care of it unlike the rest of us . What texture is it? How is the rest of tour family dealing with your father's death? |
Re: Afar People by Nobody: 10:23pm On May 28, 2017 |
fanficgirl:Other Actually, me and my mother don't take care our hairs that much, but it's still great. Not all Ethiopians have good hair like most imagined. The texture of our family hair is mid soft, but my mother hair is very soft. They are normally dealing with it now. My mother was completely damaged just like me and my siblings, but she is feeling better lately. I know all of them are destroyed inside, but they are trying their best to feel normal. Thanks for asking. 1 Like |
